Short video on the point! 👍 I‘am fully satisfied with my new Range Rover Sport P550e, which combines a 400hp petrol engine with an 218 hp electic engine and a 31,8 kw/h battery. I agree to all pros and cons.

Great car. I own the RR P510e, plenty powerful, too.

Top! The P510e has one great advantage compared to the P550e. Land Rover eliminated practically all buttons from the cockpit in the modelyear 24. So i have to manage the climatecontrol, the drivemode…. On the touchscreen.. The cockpit is clean like a Tesla. This is a donwside for the p550e compared to the P510e. Beside of this, the RRS is an outstanding car for long journeys.

I have Rav4 plugin. 65 km range or so with electricity in winter. I do preheat with heat pump that car has. And when car is plugged to wall, preheating only uses mains electricity. Car was not cheap. Like 5ke more than EV. But it is a Toyota and holds value ridiculously well I do want to change

I agree on the noise advantage but other than that you are barking up the wrong tree. Finding repair staff is getting a bigger nightmare as every day goes by. For example My sister bought a Peugeot 3008 Hybrid. Although not plug in her promised 4 km of electric range shrunk to something like 400m within months of her purchase. 10 years later with 80000km she was due for a timing belt. The Garage told her well lady the hybrid system is really something that needs attention but nobody really knows what to do about it. So she traded her car for peanuts. Now she bought a Toyota Yaris Hybrid. I was shocked that 20% of her boot space was wasted due to Toyota's inability to design a matching electronic control box. BMW had an EV with range extender, many sold in the US but they are worth nothing since Musk found Herr Holzhaeuser to design proper cars. Mitsubishi's PEHV was a total failure accorting to a former Swiss garage owner who bought one and called it the best design with no repair possibility ever.

Quite so! But a Cayenne e-hybrid somehow does make sense, if one can afford it! I had a Porsche Panamera turbo S e-hybrid a couple of years ago, a beast...

@@morten_hannesbo The Tycan was more promising with its 800V architecture. But Volkswagen has some models to shed to get back into the black. Toyota Prius gen1 was the one built so well that our Taxi company calls them just run in with 800,000km on it. Some nutters are now trying to use Ammonia as alternative fuel. So what do you get burning NH3? More NOX than VW ever knew about!
