Oh-oh ... check this: I was excited to purchase and use the JOYO JW-03 for just over 10 days and recommended the product to a my trio-mate, another acoustic guitarist. Love the battery life. Now the rest of the story: At this week's practice, I had mine paired and plugged in; he had his paired. Then he plugged his set into his amp. What documentation there is touts that these units have an automatic 'channel hopping' feature which is supposed to alternate a paired set to another channel if interference is detected. Well all faith in that went out the window when his signal dropped out because my signal was over-riding his on his amp, while I was getting sputtering and drop-out on mine. We tried to power off, re-start and re-pair. No luck. The bottom line is that **multiple musician's playing on these in the same setting can't co-exist.** I'll keep mine for solo and studio, but I'm now forced to find an alternate system, perhaps in the 5.8 Ghz range.

I don't remember if they can set to different frequencies so you don't get the interference issue.

@@DoctorMcFarlandStudios I think (perhaps suspect is a better word) that two pair of JW-03's playing in the same group within proximity of each other has never been tested. The company doesn't document troubleshooting on this matter. The system is supposed to include 'automatic channel hopping,' which might work with a JW-03 and some alien 2.4Ghz transmitter like a cordless phone. The behavior in this case with my band mate was that each time his system would auto-hop, so would mine. Most wireless guitar systems have their own unique channels per set of TX/RX. Then too, combine the susceptibility of 2.4Ghz systems to interference, combined with auto channel hopping ... I have doubts.

It has other channel banks, gotta click the pair button twice to switch to a different channel bank.

Does it cut the gain of the distortion or overdrive because the LEKATO wiresless is sucks! The gain of the distortion effects or overdrive cuts just like the noise gate.

so in theory you can have a pair going from the guitar to the pedalboard. then another pair from the pedalboard to the amplifier then, right?
@DoctorMcFarlandStudios2 жыл бұрын
yeah that would work just fine.
@OrvinReyes2 жыл бұрын
though that makes little sense, as your pedalboard isn't moving around at all
@markusaurelius777 Жыл бұрын
You only need ONE PAIR if using pedals. Transmitter in guitar or bass, receiver in the input of the pedalboard. Then just us a 1/4" jack and cable to go from the output of pedalboard to your amp. Those are not going anywhere..so why use two pairs? Well you "could" use the second pair to go from the pedalboard to your amp head.....but a cable will be fine because it isn't moving anywhere.

Works fine with my active pickups. I actually went 142 feet away in my condo and the signal was still great. Can't wait to use this system live !!!

Had mine for about 8 weeks and they just stopped working. No sound comes through. They still light up and connect, but dont give me any sound. Ive tried them with several different guitars and amps. I wouldnt call this a "quality" product. Buy at your own risk.
