What lacks right now for me: 1. Proper police system, police car chasing system. 2. More social interaction with the city/NPCs 3. Better graphical details (as one of examples: compare shooting at the car or water in games like GTA5) But does it worth to buy now ? Yes, it is good game, 8/10

The existence of police actually chasing NPC's in vehicles gives me hope that they're working towards an organic police car chase system (and car chases in general). I'd also love it if we had to repair our vehicles, and could modify them.....even if it was purely an aesthetic modification.

I just got a Series X last week and the first game I bought was Cyberpunk. I haven't had any issues and am having a great time with it! Really sucks that lots of people will miss out bc of how bad it was rolled out. Only good thing is that it only cost me 20$! Definitely recommend but still only if you have PC or next gen

Started a second play through after 1.5, on PS4 Pro. I ended up getting the Platinum Trophy for the game, picking the different endings from the 'point of no return' save. If the game had launched as the 1.5 version I think CDPR would have saved themselves a lot of grief. The writing, and story is very good, and there's far fewer issues breaking immersion than at release.

I bought and kept this game since day 1.... I still see things that might be bugs in the game but i keep playing cuz of the many stories. Theres judy panam takamura river the peralezs clair the Sinner man missions. All the gigs and side gigs are a plus and have there own story. Just doing the prologue finding that corpo woman comes back up in a cool way. I sneaked that search and rescue and npcs still talk like i went in guns blazing. Ive experienced game breaking bugs and they were exterminated a few days later.

I can only recommend on the next generation versions. But the game is good! The story is amazing and I can feel the heart that went into this game. I even memed on it at launch too. But now it is worth it, especially on sale.

Played on PC at launch. I had my favorite game bug of all time. I did a side job where I rescued a guy from a hotel ambush. I drove him to the end destination, but the quest didnt complete. I said fuck it, got in my car, left him, and carried on. A few irl days later, i was playing another and the hotel guy randomly got in my car and just stared at me. Scared the shit out of me lol

honestly the biggest plus from the latest patch was the performance imo.. got a 3070ti and before when playing with dlss on quality and max (raytracing) settings I had like 45 fps i think and now it feels super smooth (idk really smooth 60fps to 70fps) which is crazy (wqhd)

Simple answer. Yes. The world feels alive now and bugs are at a minimum (compared to where they were). I play on ps5 and it's solid. I have friends who play on pc and they are mostly positive about it too.

@@DavidHosey1 it definitely is not, TW3’s NPCs had routines, like TW1 and 2. Cyberpunk has a lot more of NPCs but it makes it impossible for each of them to be personalized by the devs, so they all are dumb AIs on the street, despawning and respawning ont to save some memory. Just play TW3 to see how much of a masterpiece this game was, even the shop sellers were real characters

I didn't think I'd like Cyberpunk but I really enjoyed it.I really liked the mission where you have to find the malfunctioning cars and Keanu Reeves is always worth watching.I really liked the weaponry and I thought it packed a real punch

Yes I love the game. I first tried it on PS4 last year and it was unplayable. I then tried PS5 and it was way better. I played it again this year after the patches and it ran so much better. Love the story most of all. Although there are small glitches at times- like I couldn't get the mantis blades to spawn this time. Definitely give it a try if you've been waiting for a better experience- but do so on a new console or a good PC.

@@Basti167. It's nothing really like Farcry, besides the open world element. I don't even know what to compare it to, it's somewhat unique. Like a world that sucks you in, with characters you can experience real emotions for. It's hard to explain, better you just experience it yourself.

One of my schoolfriends told me that he has been playing Cyberpunk alot lately on his ps4 slim and there were close to no frame drops,no bugs,no performance issues no nothing. Might consider trying it out when I go to his house for a sleepover cuz I love open-world games. And the design of Night City is bloody damn good I must say.

After 1.5. Cyberpunk is one of the best open world RPG in newer times. It is stunning with an atmosphere that is only rivaled by the best games in the industry. It is a shame how this was released, because for, its a masterpiece

Good to hear. I bought the game on ps4 when It came out and made it almost to the middle of the game but my saved data was deleted and I delt with alot of bugs and performance issues so I dropped it until they fixed it. Hearing this now and having recently bought a really good laptop think I'll buy it again. I do really enjoy this type of game and despite my issues could tell the game had a lot to offer.

The animations bugging out and getting you killed in slo mo, lack of executions/enemy animations and enemy presence (empty areas) really hurts the combat aspect but the story is a great ride.

yeah i played this game on a ps4 pre patch ofc it was very buggy in some areas but my god i still loved the atmosphere and the story i wasn't really bothered by it at all and now that its way better im redownloading it for my 3rd playthrough and im super excited to see what changed

44 hours on PS4, started another save after I got myself a PS5. Gotta say, with everything they put effort on this game + the intensive use of DualSense features makes me love this game even more. It actually feels like a finished game and I'm having a blast, so glad I never got rid of my Tyger Claws steelbook

@@Mini-wd7qz Played on my laptop with a GTX 1050, it ran just fine. If you don't have a graphics card, then stick with the PS4 version instead. It's a bumpy ride, but when the game is working correctly it's amazing.

I'm currently finishing my *fourth* playthrough. Can't get over how much I love the game. I'd put it aside after my 3rd full playthrough, and planned to leave it there for a few months, but I confess that the 1.5 patch brought me back earlier than I'd planned. Weird how things work out 😉.

I would say we should still wait maybe after 6 months or so they'd improve the AI NPC behaviour and overall open world maybe add new animations and stuff...so I would definitely wait for another 6 months to finally play it!

I just had a blast with this. I got it a few months later on PC and I set the FPS to 17 and it fixed all my issues. It gave it a super film look and I could pump up graphics even more before I got my new graphics card lol. All in all, an immersive and 'worth it' game. That's the main thing. Story+world+battle is great.

This was a balanced and well-done review. I agree that the biggest disappointment remains the lifepaths - they're just not really much of a feature. Other than that, this is a great game with incredible writing and atmosphere. I think it might actually have the best side quests of any game considering I often forget that a lot of them aren't technically main quests. On PC, the top mods also add in a lot of features that are sorely missing like police chases and more detailed strengths and weaknesses for gang enemies. It's one of my favorite games.

I actually kind of like the life-paths. They seem to be around just long enough to establish your character's back-story, but not long enough to be boring (on multiple play-throughs). Still, I wouldn't mind seeing a future version of the game (Expansion or Sequel) where we get extended and deepened life-paths.

I’m 20 hours in playing for the 1st time. I absolutely love it, it’s a technical marvel. 10/10 would recommend as long as your PC will run it. It definitely helps if your GPU supports DLSS. Even with 30 series cards it’s worth looking up an optimization guide. Great video though thanks!

This was my first real game I played since Mario 64 came out and It spoiled me so bad. The story, the city, the awesome missions, hacking, perks, etc it really has it all with style. Ive been going through all the AAA games and Cyberpunk just had what I wanted. Love that fight music.

This game is amazing, the writing, the character's, the story it is some of the best I've ever seen. The combat is great, the world, the lore. Really the only thing missing more cars and people in the world, NPC faces could be better and some crazy upgrade mods at ripper doc's. This is truly a masterpiece and people just don't get it. It is just a sleek story driven cyberpunk world, there is serial killers and rockers that are terrorists and corporations, slums, gangs, sex dens story that intertwine like silk. Just play it and don't believe people following the negativity that have not played it in full

I was hyped for this game more so than any other title that’s ever been promised. When it released, I slowly realized how truly disappointing it was about half way through. I didn’t finish it. I still haven’t beaten it. But I’m giving it one more go with the help of some mods. Update 1.5 was decent but, still doesn’t fix or excite any aspect of the combat and all its jank. This is not an rpg but if you wanna enjoy a really well written story and experiences life in v’s shoes then sure. I recommend it. The side missions are not all amazing but a lot of them are intriguing and varied. My favorite being one about a talking vending machine. It is disappointing that this game on harder difficulties boils down to. Destiny like bullet sponges and spamming your inhaler as if you’re severely asthmatic. And if you’re on console. Get it as cheap as possible!

Exactly. I’ve been having a lot of fun doing story content, but man the RPG side is definitely rough. Also the game has one of my biggest pet peeves, which is when devs try to make you feel like the main character is a blank slate for you to fill when in reality, V is an established character already. My V doesn’t match main story V so it all feels disjointed in the end, which is unfortunate.

Your criticisms are totally valid, no argument there, and I will also admit that I have only played on "hard" difficulty, but I have played through it a few times and enemies are really only bullet sponges if you or your weapons are under-leveled from my experience. My first play through I only focused on the main quest and the primary side quests so I was only level 30 something by the end and some of the fights were definitely rough. My last playthrough I did every NCPD scanner mission and everything so I was way higher leveled and the bullet sponginess was not noticable. May be worth trying if you still haven't finished a playthrough.

@@awilk418 I played on normal the first go around. Now I’m doing it on hard, so admittedly they were only bullet sponges till about the Arasaka Parade. And I’m having a lot of fun with trying out the knife throwing, and doing a high agility/stealth build. This game is getting closer to how I wanted it to feel. I’m extremely vulnerable but so are my enemies now. Things get real intense real easy but. Damn I make it worse for myself, choosing fashion over stats lol Even though it’s all in first person I refuse to look stupid!

And you’ll definitely be entertained for plenty of hours. It’s just that without mods. It’s hard to say it’s worth anything more. They improve things quite a bit. And if you’re getting it on last gen. I’d double check to see how it runs still. Cause I remember buying it on Xbox too to game share it with someone and it was unplayable. My large hype for the game was largely met at launch. Even if it felt surprisingly bare in some unexpected areas. 1.5 made the game feel better overall but a good expansion can do wonders. I'd still play it every now and then for years as is, but I hope they can make it get even better.

I know, right? I jumped into the game as soon as I could after launch, and aside from a few minor bugs- something pretty much every game has- I had a ton of fun. Then I came online to share how much fun I had, how goshdarn beautiful the game is, how immersive the first person is, and maybe to participate in some Roach-esque memes for the minor bugs... and suddenly the internet was this raging hate fest. I went wtf. Like, did we play the same game? What? No customization? _Did you miss all the viable builds and multiple paths to solve missions?_ I first went in for quickhacking stealth ninja, then ran a full melee- katana plus doublejump and speed perks, sweet- then focused on assault, slower but more firepower. Did all the endings. Got all the cars. Just walked around and took in the ambience.

Then the completed build had a ton of massive issues as we all know. 2020 was a horrible time, but they really should have just delayed and cited the wild times we're in.

Just started playing on ps4 again. My main issue is somehow my old save files got lost or corrupted. So I has to start a new game but doesn't really matter since the first playthough was super buggy. Only bug I noticed was my gun was invisible for a few minutes lol

I decided to reinstall the game on my ps4 three weeks ago and so far it hasn't crashed on me and I haven't found any game breaking bugs yet. However there are still some of the usual glitches such as the scenery popping in as you're driving/walking through night city, npcs walking through each other and taking a minute to appear in certain areas and textures taking time to pop in.

When the game launched, i played it without watch anything on social about it. I end the game with nomad character. After i complete i start watch reviews and everything i didnt see any of those bugs in my game. It was everything smooth, i dont know some people, just want the world to burn and the only thing to do is to find bugs.

The prologue is still probably the best game intro/prologue of any game I've ever seen or played. I understand a lot of people had technical and performance issues with the game on launch, but being fortunate enough to have minimal glitches and playable performance, I played through the prologue the day after launch and even though I had been riding the hype train my mind was honestly blown (until act 2 started unfortunately). There were definitely times when it seemed like a movie but I mean that as a compliment, it truly made the world of cyberpunk feel real, at least for the first several hours. Would pay $60 again every time

I bought it originally when it came out for old gen, it was pretty bad but I still put a lot of hours in. Put it down for about 8-10 months and just started playing it again on Series X and I love the game now. Just sitting there drunk exploring, blasting Cyberpsychos and smoking cigs. Johnny would be proud.

Man...I had a lot of fun with this game but then I started & beat the game called The Ascent... now going back to cyberpunk 2077 doesn't feel as fun. I'm going to try to get back into it & beat it..most fun I had in cyberpunk was some of the side missions. Trying to beat the higher leveled ones in different ways.

Ya I say cyberpunk should have had a type of transmog system for cyberpunk so you could use money to choose between armour you've gotten while having the high stats that you get

played this game at launch on pc, was one of the lucky people who got very less bugs and enjoyed the game. Now I'm playing it again on ps5 and its super impressive still

I originally bought the game at release on a 9700K PC with a 1080ti. It ran fine and I played it and really enjoyed it . No significant glitches just a few humorous one. Windy palm trees when nothing else was feeling any wind was one. I upgraded to a 3070ti and started another playthrough after patch 1.5 and I enjoyed it even more. Graphical fidelity and framerate loads better and the patch adds some good stuff as well fixing the overall engine a bit too. Cars much easier to drive. The really is now an excellent game. One of the best I've played. Is it as good as Witcher 3? Yes it's as good but it's too short. It does have a multitude of different paths and that's maybe where the depth is to be found but I tend to play the same way every time. Just my nature. Fantastic game. 10/10 Luv and Peace.

I preordered on ps4. I’m sure i got lucky but the game only crashed twice for me. I only went for the main story so i agree that if you do that you’re missing out on a lot of things. Almost done with my second playthrough on pc. Leagues above what previous gen was like. I’d say catch it on sale if you haven’t picked it up yet.

I bought it when 1.5 launched and was blown away. The lifepath system (that really made the tabletop game so good) was totally missing and the lack of a Empathy/Humanity stat never made selecting cyberware a dilema. Despite this, it's an incredible game and an excellent interpretation of Mike Pondsmith's original vision.

I played CP2077 for the first time after the 1.5 patch and it ran very well on PC. The game is beautiful to look at, the soundtrack rocks, the gameplay is solid with some good variety of playstyles, and the story is fantastic. There is no reason not to play it now if you have been waiting (and you own a PC, PS5, Xbox Series X).

I’ve retired from shooting and FPS games otherwise would have bought or played it, right now playing witcher 3, 200hours in. CDred makes good long story games which is to admire.

Yup -- This is absolutely fair comment. It's a super-fun game and if you think you _might_ enjoy it, you probably will. You should also look into the modding scene...there are tons of great mods for this game that change all kinds of look and feel aspects, and even improve, or at least vary, the gameplay. Get it on sale, and approach it with an open mind...it's all good. Sure, there's still the occasional visual glitch, but they are minor and forgettable.

You can upgrade what ever clothing you want so I advise keeping all the clothes you collect and you can wear what ever you want with upgraded stats.
