I have xuv 300 diesel.I took delivery of my vehicle from chennai and directly i took it to my hometown at kaliyakavilai so that the engine got settled. I get around 15kmpl in chennai traffic and upto 21kmpl on highways.Mostly I drive at around 90 to 100 on they highways. Driven around 35000 kms in 1 yr. I don't feel any bodily tiredness even after i drive it continuously for 12 hours.

Good review. One small suggestion. AMT gear shift in this car is different than other AMTs. So when explaing about AMT shifting camera was not focussing on AMT shifter due to which it was difficult to understand the shift pattern. Another thing is whenever AMT is reviewed it is better to mention at which speed each gear is shifting..

I have 1.5 years old, XUV300. By 1500 kms steering link rod issue, by 6000km clutch issue, ABS is not accurate , awkward break bite in rainy conditions, Now 28,000kms ABS bringing in sounds while breaking. Long clutch travel is another issue which forces us to put more work for the foot. The engine and performance of 300NM Torque are pure good in the segment. Average mileage ( highway + Coimbatore traffic mixed ) is around 20km.

I took a test drive of 3x0. The gear nob vibrates like old trucks. Dealer told it was ran too much so much disappointed with quality. Otheriwse good car longevity is doubtful.

True. I bought diesel manual last year. Long clutch travel is really painful during traffic situation. Only Mahindra cars have this much travel. Every minute we feel why we bought manual and it was a clear mistake from me. But any solution bro ? Give some hints plz how to overcome this issue

Adaptive cruise control is not available on manual transmission. Automated emergency brake works by first giving warning sounds and then applies brakes slightly. When user doesn’t react till this point and when if brakes are not slammed it would get into a collision only then it applies the brakes.

3L for the exact same car and exact same variant. Sonet htx diesel at. It has better torque converter automatic instead of amt But one problem with Sonet. Lower crash rating. And more importantly. No disc brakes at rear. That's a big problem But will give you better mileage than xuv

Diesel don’t come with TC. Instead you can consider AMT. Literally a beast which can produce around 300NM torque. Better go for manual 🔥

Hi Asir, Can you tell me if the manual drive of AMT gearbox is any different from normal manual driving? I mean, it's technically the same manual gearbox, and yes AmT in automatic mode may feel laggy from other automatic transmission. But when you drive it in manual mode, does it have any different behaviour than normal manual? How fast does it switch gears?will it automatically upshift or will it give complete control to the driver? If i drive the AmT in manual mode always, will i miss anything other than the clutch? I'm just confused why the AmT lag is such a big deal, because when a manual car gear shifting is time, will it not have same lag?

If you drive AMT in manual then you can get 80% of the manual feel. It's good. Also with the convenience of no clutch. But the only thing is you can't directly compare the shfting because in manual , no electronic and shift is fully based on you. Here you have a unit which has to shift based on your input. So it might be soo fast or soo slow or normal depends on the mood of unit. But nevertheless amt is also very good for normal driving.

Please do Renault Kiger Turbo CVT review. I think its the most value for money good automatic car in this price segment with good rear spacious seats and boot space. Underrated car. Nissan Magnite Turbo CVT too. But I feel the suspension and interiors are better on Renault Kiger. So please do Kiger Turbo CVT 2024 review. It's an underrated car from Renault especially for the automatic transmission, good steering feedback and suspension. I am not a paid promoter. Correct brother 30:56 , I'm having xuv300 diesel manual. Even though we try to make smooth shifts , because of high torqy nature, rear passanger feels that shifts.. gap(torque lag) between shifting. Driver ah kora solranga bro🤧. 4 wheel disc brake is efficient but as u said it makes nose dive everytime with soft braking too . Athukum driver ah than kora solranga brother .. Power nala irukum, brakes supr ah irukum nu xuv300 vanguna. Elameh over ah iruku athuveh kora ah varuthu😂. Dany bro keta mari ethuku +50nm🤔.. DPF blockage sekrameh aiduthu but no prob . It has PARK REGEN MODE. and we can also clear it by driving in highways with constant speed for 10mins

Do you consider Honda City bro? That's the best NA Sedan and hassle free maintenance... If turbo is your preference... slavia has good roomy interior ... Virtus is cramped but sporty .. both Slavia and Virtus share similar engines but tuning differs and maintenance is high.... Verna's looks are subjective, you'll experience turbo lag... But the NA is not spirited and it's more family friendly... In my opinion Honda City is the best... But you can take a test drive bro
