Wow, love how to approached this video, kept it real and not coming off as someone trying to prove themselves. Many thanks for sharing your experience, and keep it up. I reached out to Ready Lift about the 1.5” leveling kit made for the ZR2 and the reasoning behind the 1.5” is so you can run it without the UCA. I put 1.5” wheel spacer on my 24 ZR2 and the tires rubbed passenger front finder. The 1.5” leveling kit solved the issue, now I’m thinking I need to take it back to the shop and replace the 1.5 kit with the 2” or 2.5” via UCA.

Did the motofab 2.5 front 2 rear on my slt sierra 2020. Lasted 1 year and both ball joints started clunking on the upper control arm. Just installed the proper motofab upper arm that corrects the angle. Heavy duty ball joints. Works with factory wheels too!

This is why I only went with the readylift 1.5" level for my SLE. Felt if I went with 2.0-2.5 I'd need control arms. 1.5" keeps me between stock and at4 lift heights. I believe they use the same control arms so should be safe. Knock on wood.

I’m going with ready lift 1.75 kit- with control arms- 285/75/r18 only leveling my 21 AT4 diesel .. I chose this so I Won’t loose my 4W auto correct? Please any help would help ty
@auroras1kk2 жыл бұрын
No you never lose it but it’s still advised to it manually and go into 4Hi 4 low yourself because 4W auto shifts fast and could cause damage because of changing quickly but I used it a couple times had no issues also with 18’s you will be super close to the UCA’s which won’t cause an issue but just so you know. If you’d like to run spacers you can or go up to 20’s. I have 18’s and no issues off roading or daily driving

Hello Aurora, would you be willing to give the shop that did your lift, I want to do my 22 TB with the same kit and it seems like you are very happy with their work? Thank you in advance
@BigLou192 жыл бұрын
I took my 2021 Sierra AT4 to a local shop and I asked for a level kit. I showed him the list of mods I wanted and on it, it said “Ready Lift SST 2.0” They installed just the damn spacer or whatever that is. I fucked up because I didn’t know what I was looking at. I should of done my homework. I called the shop and told them my concern and they said it was safe. It’s only unsafe when going anything higher than 3-4 inches higher. That’s when you will run the risk of the tire popping completely like in the picture you showed. Is it true ? Anyone ? I measured the spacer they installed under the Rancho shock and it measured 1 1/4 so that means I had 2” factory plus 11/4 = 3 1/4 “?
@auroras1kk2 жыл бұрын
That’ll only happen if you don’t install new upper control arms but the ready lift should have UCA’s so you’ll be fine :) the spacer doesn’t matter just make sure you always check your lug nuts :)

I have a quick question..... The CV joint (I think that and the axles for the front rear 4x4) angle I am thinking is going to be off enough to eventually damage it. Is that correct???

What if I wanted to run 4inch lift by rough country then also bought new upper control arms for the 4inch lift to get a total of 6inches of lift. Would that work or is that a stretch. BDS makes a 4inch with upper control arms but is pretty pricey, I wanted to know if running a rough country lift with aftermarket upper control arms.
