Hello - Steve here, from Mountain View, California, just turned 58. I did this routine for the for the first time, and I have a question about just the pushups: what frequency do you recommend for the over-50's? Do pushups every two days? Twice a week? Thanks again for these great instructional videos. I am also a quarter of the way through The Complete Yoga Book by Hewitt, and I am getting accustomed to daily pranayama, too.

Hi Steve. Regarding push ups - they are really strong on the shoulders and wrists so I reckon everyday too much. You want strong shoulders etc but not to get worn out. Too much exercise can cause tension and inflammation which can speed up ageing. Do a set 3 times a week - as many as you can do until you failure. Focus on good alignment- have someone check rather than speed. 5 full push ups with good technique better than 10 with poor technique And keep up the breath- work Good on you

hi love are your exercises ok to do with osteoarthritis I have it in my spine and other joints.

Yes - the exercises 100% help with ostoearthritis - they loosen you up
