Is it normal to have more ease with shoulder mounts vs inverts ? I’m still struggle with my inverts (tilting my pelvis, looking backwards, hooking my inner knee) but I have more ease conditioning my shoulder mounts and princess mounts

So sorry for this late response. I only just saw your comment! I'd say that usually it's the other way around. Shoulder mount is a more challenging movement - from both a strength and skill perspective! But it may be that you have the strength for both but something about the invert (perhaps tipping fully into an inverted position) is causing a mental barrier for you. There are so many elements to both moves! :) x

It's crazy I can do a shoulder mount but can't invert. smh

Ahhh... is it because of the tip back in the invert? I guess shoulder mount is technically less 'inverted' than the basic invert where your head tips back below the level of your hips. Maybe it is this aspect of the invert that is creating a mind-body block for you. 🤔
