@@TamunoOpuboCooksCookeyGamYes, there are "petty" individual scammers often found in India and Nigeria. And there are also the huge institutional scammers disguised as "respectable" financial multinationals who fleece the struggling masses with all sorts of schemes justified by their complicated terms & conditions only fit for a solicitor to decode! Some scammers are just more sophisticated than others. Only the crude ones get called out!

@@uvdu As I've said Im also living in a 3rd world country, and like most of the people in a 3rd world country I myself also need to work all my life to sustain a living and to have a better life. Id rather have a decent car after working for 20 to 40 yrs knowing it came from my own pocket than acquiring it thru scamming. Im not rich, it doesnt matter if I commute all day to get to my workplace, it doesnt matter if I dont have a smart phone, poverty is never an excuse for committing a crime. And whats even wrong with working hard or working still even if you are 60 or so. Life is already hard for most of us people, why make it more harder by scamming these poor people's hard earned money.

@@mychannelmysay4105 You‘re basing your argument on your own moral beliefs. Sure there are people like you who would rather do hard but honest work and accept a lower salary, than earning much more as a morally reprehensible criminal, but not including the fact that we are all very different and that some people will go further than others, into your view of society as a whole is a very naive mistake.

@@jackback70Of course we are all different, and who says we need to think and act the same. We all have different choices in life, but we do all have the choice to do what's right. I know some people can't easily get a job because of disabilities, old age, or because of poor educational background, I feel bad for these people. But those scammers, these bastards are still young and not what you call illiterate individuals, they have skills, but they chose to use their skills in bad deeds. You can't always use poverty as an excuse, from what I see, theyre doing this not because of poverty, it's because their lazy individuals. Low income? it's not about how much you earn but how much you spend. You can always go further to achieve your goals, but should it be in a way where you can swallow to step on innocent people, by stealing money from them.

But that doesn't mean they should scam people. There are some of us that are determined to NEVER dirty our hands, all in the name of making money. I have a white American female friend in her late 40s that almost died because one Nigerian idiot got into her life and used her to get a green card. When it comes to the occupied north it sadly doesn't surprise me as there have been famous issues with fraud/people misrepresenting themselves
@steliosaa2
@steliosaa2 2 жыл бұрын
Jim has nice videos but doesn't represent the Cyprus very well on this video. The Cyprus Government has no control over the North. It is occupied by the Turkish Army so no police can go there. The free part (southern) has police and can catch these people. However, the North is a "wild west".. a "black site".. when it comes to europol and interpol things.
@BoneAnubis
@BoneAnubis 2 жыл бұрын
@@steliosaa2 exactly, I used to visit Cyprus 3 times a year & as a country it is beautiful, the people are kind & ok it’s government facilities etc in the past has been chaotic (I don’t know so much now) but it’s a Mediterranean island so it will always reflect that. The republic of Cyprus is honestly an amazing country but the occupied north is as you put it correctly a “Wild West” where so many issues have arisen due to the state of it. He hasn’t really represented it well as it’s the equivalent of saying Korea has a horrible human rights record, the south is fine but the north isn’t. You wouldn’t ever class Korea as one country (as it isn’t currently) but I seem to find quite often Cyprus is treated that way when the south is a republic & the north is illegally occupied by the Turkish. Completely different governments & systems & split by a DMZ

I am not Nigerian but it’s quite aggravating when people do horrible criminal things to the elderly, differently abled, or vulnerable. I take exception and want retribution when I see someone who is of my group, gender, tribe, race, or whatever doing something reprehensible. I do believe it reflects on me and makes it harder for people to trust me and others who aren’t doing this stuff.

They ll never stop it until people get smarter and we form a community with people like yourself who are willing to give the information to law officials in the given addresses s area or are they hard to find exactly where they are ? What would the courts do ? It’s non violent crime but still a crime
