Hello there! I wanted to take the time to thank DR, and especially Nicolai Abrahamsen, for making this video possible! I've been working on this vision from first draft of the script to the current status over the course of six years. When I watched "The Force Awakens", I was "awakened" to want to tell a story in the Star Wars universe. Voices came to life in my head as new characters spoke to me and each other. Throughout the years, I've always wondered how the musical landscape of the episode would turn out, because music is so engrained in Star Wars and in my own work as an artist. Having Steffen Bruun Rørvig being a pivotal "voice" in the music has helped define the spirit of the episode and the 70 minutes story will have important parts of the storytelling laid before you through his vocals, and I couldn't be more elated. I'm so proud of his work and proud that he's a major player in the soundscape. To have a legend like Christine Nonbo supply the vulnerability and power to accompany his work is a wonderful contrast and amalgamation of the emotions running through our story. When you work on making your contribution to the Star Wars universe, you immediately have to wonder, how you'll tackle the "John Williams conundrum". Do you try to emulate his style or create something entirely unique? Luckily, with Peter Due and fellow composer, Michael Cryne, on the team, we found out that we could easily carve our own way, as we tell a story taking place more than 500 years before the sound of John Williams. Thank you to all the people who have chimed in and complimented the fantastic orchestra. May a time come when a full concert can be performed with works from "Shrouded Destiny: A Star Wars Long Tale"....

@@brucekuehn4031 So, any Star Wars without John Williams is not Star Wars? So the Mandalorian, Rogue One and Book of Boba Fett don't exist and neither will Kenobi or Ahsoka? And the Clone Wars and Rebels? Maybe try keeping an open mind. A lot of people have love for the universe beyond just the movies. This is for them. 🙂

I really hope you manage to get your story or vision to be made. And this theme is amazing! Congrats to Peter Due. It´s not supposed to sound like JW, it´s supposed to evoke Star Wars and that´s more than nailed. It also evokes EM, but in a clever way. I really hope you can get to make it, the composers get to compose the full score and that DR gets to play it. P.S. The actor that reminds everyone of Obi Wan or AG really gets the tone.

This was by far my favourite song of the whole concert. Steffen was standing right from orchestra and Christine was standing above the ochestra. Hearing how their voices were melting togehter over the ochestra was pure magic. And when the ochestra fully came in, i had goosebumps from head to toe and maybe I had to shead one or two tears.

I understand your point about wanting to have this piece of music uninterrupted. It's strikingly beautiful and proud that it's accompanying my fan film! However, since this piece of music was connected to a piece of filmmaking still in the making and the way it's gone about is so unique from the Danish National Symphony Orchestra, we felt that we had to give the viewers a chance to get a quick understanding of "What is this?" and this was the solution to that. If you check up on any of the major music streaming platforms, I do believe you can find the piece there in its pure version. 🙂

Hello there! Seeing I'm the lead creator on it, I should probably give you a well-deserved answer! 😀 Like so many productions in the world, we were affected by Covid, however, since we're a 100% volunteer-based film, we have had to contend with the fact that a lot of our artists attached to the project are struggling to make ends meet and have to make sure that they get their paid jobs done first. And a sizable portion had to up and leave all entirely, because they were afraid that they'd lose homes and everything. But it's completely edited, the music is nearly done, sound design is working on it and it's "just" VFX that is the major pillar that needs to be erected. But, rest assured, this film will come out!
