Side by side comparison of stoeger and tristar shot guns

Bought my Condor two barrel set ( 12 and 20 gauge) about 12 years ago for a little under $400. excellent deal.

Good guns. Tristar is definetly better in my opinion, I got one too.

The stoeger has less recoil because its heavier.. makes a big difference

Less kick with 12? Maybe the heavier weight of the gun? I have a Condor also and was trying to get the wife involved but wasn’t sure the recoil would chase her away. Thought out getting a 20 for her.....now I may even look for a 410

I looked at both brands for my first gun. Ended up buying a CZ Teal 20 gauge at Cabelas. It’s been a great gun.

@@bobbriante2385 excellent. I have a freind of a freind that wants 400 for his thats clean and has seen very little use and is damn close to new condition. His gripe is fixed chokes but i have reamers and dies for invector chokes so ill toss in a set of flush chokes to be able to pattern it more effectively. I shoot primarily 28ga with tungsten shot but heard the .410 needs to damn near run i/c or cylinder choke with tss shot or it simply stays too dense of a pattern.

I actually like the tristar because of the barrel selector and yes the stoeger is Brazilian made
