I was truly saddened by Tom’s passing. And this is been a year of well. Last year was a year of many many of the singers actors actresses, people who entertain us we seem to lose a lot of them because I’m older too. Now Tom’s passing kinda hit me a little harder than I thought it would, but it has done one very positive thing I didn’t know that there was as much material that was still available to listen to. And the people that have posted it for all of us to enjoy I say a very hearty thank you. Those memories are important. And Dick you have my deepest sympathies on the loss of your brother.

While living on the streets I used to sing this song as I walked along adapting the lyrics to be "Singing God's songs" Oh, I ain't got a barrel of money, Maybe I'm ragged and funny, But I'll travel along, Singin' God's songs, With God by my side!
