The thing most people don’t realize is how well rounded he is. He is one of the best shooters AND if not the best feeder, one of the best feeders in the league currently. Think about that.

I still believe he is the #1 passer in the league. The passes he gets off are unreal. McDavid is sick but lots of his plays develop with his speed. Crosby creates high danger chances from everywhere on the ice, out of nothing more consistently than anyone else. He also has an unreal release on his shot, top 5 face off guy, a selke finalist and the best captain. Dude has it all.

Why do you think Gretzky is considered the greatest playmaker of all time? Because of his mind boggling 2223 assists including playoffs. He led the league in assists 16 times. In 50 years from now hockey fans will just be looking at the stats.

He didn't try because he's not going to put in extra effort just cuz there's less defenders out there. Fuck 3v3 and if I made $12M/yr I wouldn't give a shit about the outcome of OT either. I'd have a pile of cAke waiting in the locker room after every game...incentive to put the puck in my OWN net if I so choose...AND my team would still walk away with a point cuz 'participation'...

And hes not done, he still has 5 more on his contract, and i think hes gonna go out on , a. his own terms, but will complete his current contract which would put him in season 19. And b. hell go out into the sunset as still one of the fucking best when he decides to hang up his skates !! And i think hes got at least one more cup in him, and will one day win the selke which is one of only 2 awards that has eluded him( major awards) #87 forever !!!

I think MacKinnon is dead even with Mcdavid, and incredibly underrated. But that's just me. I don't think either one of them have the strength/agility/skating that Crosby brings. And honestly,I don't think either MacKinnon or Mcdavid are really in the same ballpark as Crosby. They play the game very differently than Sidney.

Idk what these looney toons were talking about. Sid was extremely noticeable in that Islanders series, but they couldn't bury anything. They won most of the battles, stupid mistakes killed them and Sid dragged that team in 2019 kicking and screaming into the playoffs. I've also seen him do things McDavid can't do and probably will never do because they are both great yet different players. I still take Sid in any situation if I just have to win a game. He's the most complete hockey player to ever play. Also, pretty sure Sid has led the Pens to the playoffs 14 years in a row now? Even in 06-07 he was the best player on the ice and really the x-factor to that team making it into the playoffs.

Holy hell it’s ridiculous and I get that mcdavid is extremely talented but to say he can carry a team better then sid? Mcdavid has one playoff appearance in his career.
