Pro Tip for Daily Harvest; they list all of the ingredients for every smoothie/bowl on their website. So you can literally go on there, write down the ingredients and make it yourself for WAY WAYY cheaper.

I've only noticed the wet lotion feeling with certain lotions. I use Aveeno and I have used it every single day for the past 16 years!! It's the only lotion I can stand and it's like a second skin to me. I don't even think about it after I apply it. But it's getting REALLY expensive now and I need to start looking for a cheaper alternative.

Kirstin Opal I only see cetyl alcohol, which is a fatty alcohol. It’s more like a wax, and included in lotions for a thicker consistency. Denatured alcohol, isopropyl alcohol or alcohol are the ones you want to watch out for, if they’re high up on the ingredients list. A lot of fatty alcohols are mistakenly assumed to be the drying version of alcohol, but they’re not!

Hi Sierra! Former Lush employee here: Dream Cream is our absolute heaviest lotion, it's really helpful for those with psoriasis and eczema. If you're looking for similar moisture but less stickiness, I would recommend Charity Pot or Sleepy. I’m a runner and deal with chafing a lot. The body glide chafe product is amazing! I use it for all long distance running around my sports bra, arms and inner thighs. And no side effects or bumps. It’s a dream and I recommend it!

The only issue I have with bodyglide is towards the end the hole on the middle of the stick scrapes off some of the product & it doesn't seem to be as effective, the stick isnt huge for the price especially considering you have to apply generously so losing the bottom 5th is a fair amount

I think it’s be cool if you tried different meal subscription services (like blue apron, sun basket, hello fresh, etc) and rate them on like portion size, nutrition, taste, or whatever. Idk if this seems interesting to anyone, but I think it’s be cool. Also a lot of them will give you a free first week of meals so it wouldn’t be too expensive I think

So I’m actually obsessed with the Impress nails and use them OFTEN. Some tips to help them last longer: 1. Buff the nails before applying so it’s got some roughness to stick to 2. Push back your cuticles, this will make your nail beds longer and make the impress nail stick out less. Also, the length of the nails depends on your size of nail bed. I must have longer nail beds than you because the nails are a lot shorter on me.

I CANT STRESS THIS ENOUGH!! I recently bought a lint vacuum off of amazon. I got the conair one for about $12. It is the best thing I’ve ever bought. Not only does it make cloths go from drab to fab. That Monistat Anti Chafing Gel is actually a really, really good face primer. Back years ago, like 10 or so, it was all the rage. It has ingredients very similar to the Smashbox original primer. I have oily skin and it worked really well for me. Since you didn't like it for your thighs, try it as a face primer.

mrs_ nos PLEASE do not purchase this product if you don’t need it. It’s one of the only products of its kind on the market and it serves a medical purpose. If you break the cost down it is not a good replacement for primer, and is not meant to be used this way. Back when people started buying these out it was HORRIBLE for those of us who rely on this to prevent and soothe skin irritation. Feel free to use other products for unintended usage but leave products people actually need out of your routine unless you actually need it.

My gripe with daily harvest is the amount of waste. The packaging can’t be recycled due to the plastic inner lining in the cups and bowls. 😕 Edit: someone commented that the packaging is compostable. That’s better but most commercial compostable materials can’t be composted in home or community compost. They have to be composted by a commercial composting facilities

If you’re still interested in trying one of those de-lint machines, I recommend getting a larger electric one. They’ll cost more than the small battery operated ones like she was using, but they’re worth the extra money because they’re more powerful and more effective. The one I have is the Wonder Lint that I got off of Amazon, but there are other similar options out there

Me too! I hate most lotions because they feel thick and greasy. But then there are others that just feel so gross and watery. I really hate it. Especially lotions with shea butter I hate those as well as their scent. The only lotion I can kind of handle is the Jergens lotion.

I remember when I started to watch KZbin back in 2009, and there was this "BeautyGuru" called MissChievous, who "raved" about a concealer from Ben Nye, and also this nail base coats from NailTek. It honestly was the best make up products I've used. The concealer conceals everything and the NailTek base coat is the best. I think there are more products she swore by that I purchased, like the Bobbi Brown High Lighter and NARS Orgasm Blush. So for me, buying things KZbins swears is definitively something I've done.

Sierra I love the chafing cream! It saved me every prom! I will say it works best to relieve skin that is already chaffed. If you use it to prevent chafing then you have to reapply constantly. I wear shorts under all dresses and when I do still get chaffed (which will still happen) I always apply a healthy portion of the cream and it makes all the pain go away! Keep it!

That powder/gel chaffing gel is legit. I used to work at an animal shelter that had no A/C and this saved me during the triple-digit summer heat. I used it for where my rubber boots rubbed on my ankles, bra lines, sock edges, thighs, EVERYWHERE. It is amazing.
