@@nehamotwani6477 it is not unconditional. It is always based on two factors: safety, and guarantee of tenderness and support from loved ones. Try to take this away from a child and you will see what being miserable is. So in adult life we are obliged to deliver positive impulses to those who we chose to love and to our friends and everyone who can use them to grow, feel happier. Simple choices. Someone at work is sick and you have a choice between telling "Maybe you should make yourself a tea" and actually doing that tea and placing in front of a person. The difference between sense of support and sympathy in this situation is exactly 180 degrees. Anyways it all gets to one single thing - either you tell yourself that you have to rely only on yourself and want nothing from noone but also give nothing to noone, or you become a giving and getting human being. The one who gives is also rightly entitled to expect getting.

"When one does not have what one wants, one must want what one has" is actually very similar to an old Polish proverb "Jak się nie ma co się lubi to się lubi co się ma" which in literal translation means "if you don't have what you like, you like what you have"

But one must never stop fighting against it, otherwise, stupidity would flood the whole world.” "The worst collision in life is a collision with an idiot. This quote isn't Freud. Do you really think these words were spoken by a man who lived in the 19th century?? LOL
@grondhero
@grondhero Жыл бұрын
@@BikeHikeLikeMike There are three quotes and you didn't specify which _one_ which gives me precedence to choose which one you're referring to. I'm going to extrapolate that you mean the first quote. Why wouldn't the words be spoken by someone in the 19th century? The word "asshole" has been in use since the 14th century (vulgar for anus). The quote itself is attributed to William Gibson, born 1948.
