What are your thoughts on the game? Are you going for all the trophies/achievements? On your second playthrough, you should focus on getting the chainsaw and beating the game without using ranged weapons, which the chainsaw makes much easier. You should also work on unlocking all the other endings. Edit: If you're following this walkthrough in New Game+, you won't get the "Archivist" trophy unless you've collected the "Cryptic Letter", which can only be found in New Game+ in South Vale (West), inside the safe at Bowl-O-Rama (Code: 1887). This replaces the Lost & Found Note in Lakeview Hotel, which disappears in New Game+. Therefore, you'll need to collect the Cryptic Letter to unlock the Archivist trophy/achievement for finding all memos in New Game+

Huge fan of RE series and have S+ every mainline title, was super excited when this remake was announced since i never played SH and didn't have access to sony consoles as a kid. Was hoping for this to be my introduction to the series after looking at the devs previous works and their love for the survival horror genre was unmistakable. Due to the involvement of consultant agency 'Hit Detection' i can no longer bring myself to purchase this product.

I once wrote a book a long time ago in 1998 about a tunnel. A guy walking home after work passes through a tunnel every day and one day ends up in an alternative city. But then I learned about the game Silent Hill with a very similar story and stopped writing. I think I can continue.

Thank you for this! I'm trying to get the speed run trophy, radio silent trophy, no ranged weapon trophy, the dog ending, then reload at the hotel to get the rest of the photo memories. I'm not even competitive but I really wanted to challenge myself this time. This was helpful! :) Thank you!

additionally, if exam 1 room is still locked, after you collect the upper 1f key and the pelvis xray, it should open that way too once you come back around (key items and story related). This happened for me and i can confirm this works.

Guide worked like a charm for the collectibles - do we know why we didn’t get the Maria ending? Is it because we spent too much time exploring getting the collectibles and didn’t go right to Jack’s Inn?

Hard to tell why we didn’t get the Maria ending. Maybe didn’t spend enough time with her. I followed almost everything the guides mentioned. Did you try reloading the save you made before the Pyramid Heads and experimenting with different actions from the ending guides?

@@wolker4 I tried a few different things, but always going through the scarlet egg door and healing when getting hit in the boss fights. The only things I can think of that we did that might lock us out of the ending were going the wrong way to get collectibles when she wants us to go right to Jack’s, the snake instead of the woman in the coin puzzle, and not spending 10 minutes or more just standing next to her? Maybe running with her instead of walking close to her?

@@fahmz2156 It could be everything you said, but it's hard to tell what we did wrong since the game doesn't explain how to achieve the different endings. All the guides are just speculation, and if you check different ones, they each say different things. That's why I didn't make a video on how to get every ending because it's all just speculation. Like I did everything that Powerpyx guide mentions for the Maria Ending but I got the Leave one. I only didn't have 1-2 conversations.

The video freezes from about 3:38:40 for about a minute til you unlock the hunting rifle cabinet. I don’t believe there were any collectibles in that 1 minute but can you confirm?

I thought it was a good remake, Angela and Maria's faces are a bit uncanny valley. Found a mod that made it better but didnt beautify them. I personally thought that the last line of Mary's letter didnt have as much punch as it did in the original. Also got the In Water ending, which I think is one of the best ones.

The door on @2:11:14 stays locked for me. what could be wrong? Update: after reloading the save it's open, really weird, be sure to save your game more often!

make a save at the 9 red squares, but you had to exhaust every dialogue with maria check up on her when she’s laying in bed tired she’ll say something if you did, try not to let her get hurt much or at all when she follows you, don’t look at letter of mary or photo of mary and you can do it once or twice it’s fine make sure you go through scarlet egg door, and when going through the long hallway don’t let mary finish talking exit as quick as possible

Do you know if its possible to get several ng+ endings in one playthrough? I was able to get Water and Leave by reloading my first playthrough, not Maria unfortunately, but can you do the same with the NG+ endings?

You could check out a written guide (for example PowerPyx) and compare it with your Memos to see which ones you're missing. That’s probably the only thing you can do

in the prison 2nd floor. there is a door that is locked does anyone know how to open it? I have explored the whole prison and cannot seem to open it

I think there might be a breakable wall on one of its sides if it is where I think it is in the cell block area near the showers.

@@Nick.t.S the door that ik talking about is near the double doors that go to the wardens office. I checked behind it. Bleow that floor the room has a latter that goes to the dove area

Can you still get all collectibles While at the same time, getting the maria ending in the same run? because I heard that you can't really go far away from her or go in any wrong direction since it will get her angry ir something. I'm also assuming to get the Maria, Leave and water ending all in the same play through. It's best bet to do manual save slots.When you first meet maria. And when you first enter lakeview, hotel lobby And the water and leave ending could be manipulated right before the 2 boss fights, i believe.

I'm pretty sure you can still get all the collectibles even if you go for the Maria ending. I know a bunch of people who got all the collectibles as well as all three main endings in a single playthrough

@wolker4 Got it. Thanks for clarification. And this guide video that you posted only has the leave ending? I'm trying to go for the maria first and then the leave and water after. The health requirements that's required for the leave and water. Does it have to be that requirement Throughout the whole game, or only right before the last 2 boss fights?

@@Chosen1_24 To be honest I can't really tell you how to get the three main endings, and all the guides you see online are just speculations. The game doesn't really explain how to unlock them. If you check different guides, they all say different things. In my very first blind playthrough, I was able to get all three endings. But now, in my 100% walkthrough, I was only able to get the "Leave" ending

Was just saying that for the maria ending, based on most people's guides and on power powerpyx trophy guide. They've been all saying the same thing of what to do. But my question is, when doing the maria ending, as well as all collectibles, and the leave and water ending in the same playthrough. What's the first best area in the town to do a manual save? So in case anything is messed up or something goes wrong with the sequences endings that I could just reload that save slot.

@@Chosen1_24 I really can't tell you the best spot to save in town. Maybe once you reach South Vale (West), you can save at the car in Jack's Inn. To trigger the Maria ending, you likely need to do more than what the PowerPyx guide suggests. If you check the comments section, you'll see that many people followed the guide but ended up with the "Leave" or "In Water" endings instead. But definitely make a save before the Pyramid's final boss so you can try out different things there first.
