Silent Hill 3 is the Resident Evil 4 (Perfect mix of action and horror) of the series plus this game gave me night terrors for two weeks. Lucky I beat the game multiple times and is my most favorite game which I am influenced by it.

Re4 never took itself seriously. Hell it's one of the only one's in the series that is self aware of how stupid its own plot is but it goes along with it, it's part of its charm.

I get the joke behind reusing Brookhaven Hospital, but I think it's an example of revisiting an area in a different game done right! It's actually really cool exploring the same rooms and finding different stuff. Plus, much has been added. Like the basement, which James can't access. Then there's Heather's version of the Otherworld, which is completely different than James's version, both in terms of experience and design! I really like both, but I think Heather's run through Brookhaven takes the cake. Mostly for the Otherworld section. Valtiel, the weird pictures, the mirror room, bleeding walls...etc.
