You just popped up on my feed. After a 6 year break from arts and crafts, you have inspired me to get going again. Your art is right up my street, and the video presentations are very soothing and accessible. My paints will be coming back out this evening ❤

I absolutely love these patterns that have helped me so much as far as blending, out lining, compass work, and so much more. I want to order the brushes you are using and the compass. When you go out to sell your art, do you have it framed or just covered somehow. I’ve recently had to give up a lot of my other crafts I’ve been doing such as polymer clay miniatures and jewelry, resin pieces (all varieties), all kinds of jewelry creations ,which wire wrapping was my favorite , and so much more. The only things I held back were all of my acrylic paints, brushes, watercolor pencils , basically everything having to do with drawing and painting. I’ve always wanted to learn watercolor painting ,so my sales from my huge amount of craft supplies is being spent on good paints, brushes, and all the other goodies that help in creating beautiful artwork. I’m not one to go cheap at the beginning of learning something new because , as a crafter/artist I trust my God given desires and gifts to be able to learn. I humbly watch as many instructors as yourself in order to understand all the many details there in order to create on a level such as yourself. I know it is going to take a lot of practice and patience to come close to your level of skill!! Your one of my favorite instructors when it comes to patterns. Your brilliant ❣️thank you so much for sharing your wisdom! I’m in the process of figuring out which instructors I want to join. I believe you are first on my list. Blessings to you. 🥰

Hi! Thank you so much, so glad you’re enjoying the videos and finding them helpful. The compass I use is good but there may be better ones out there - I’d definitely get a locking one (the ones with the little wheel in the middle) it saves you a lot of pain from them changing size while you’re using them. I sell my art in lots of different ways and will package it appropriately for that. Maybe I should make a video on it! If I’m exhibiting work I’ll always get it professionally framed. I don’t really do markets much but if I do, I’ll take work mounted (matted), backed with cardboard and wrapped in cellophane. A good framer can do that for you as well. If i’m posting work I’ve sold online, it goes wrapped in acid free tissue. I know what you mean about investing in good supplies from the start, it does often save you having to buy twice, but there are good budget supplies out there too. I’ve found the main difference in quality is in the paper, the paints and brushes make a difference too but not so much as paper!

Do you prefer using a rigger (liner) brush for applying gold lines opposed to a gold fine pen? If so, why? ❤❤just ordered my Helix®️ compass 🎉

Meraviglioso! Sembra una vetrata! Cercherò di rifarlo sicuramente. Sapresti dirmi come eliminare i tratti di matita coperti dall acquerello? Non vanno via…. grazie!
@LouDavis7 ай бұрын
Thank you! Grazie! You can't get rid of pencil lines after you've painted over them, so it's best to go over them with an eraser before painting to make them as faint as possible!
