Btw for lighting you can get a simple heat/lab lamp, put paper over it, and then you got a simple face light. It's what I use for video calls and it works pretty well

As a pro voice actor in Canada, I can confirm Answer #2... it is always so weird to hear yourself back for the first while. But just keep exposing yourself, to yourself/sound. With practice you’ll be able to just hear it for what it is and get much more objective with your self-feedback

I agree with a lot of what you said about jrpgs, I’d recommend trying the persona games, especially 5. It’s not immune to those criticisms but I think it’s better about them than most and pushes the genre forward better than most jrpgs from square and the like. Minor spoilers but if you’re on the fence you should see this, if you’re gonna try it, play royal, because it finally shakes the “final boss is a god” trope and creates one of the best antagonists I’ve ever seen in the process.

Last question. ¿What would you think about a game mode like Mario party in smash bros? I made kinda of a rant about smash not giving do much to do in regards casual modes, i got yo the conclusion that we need a better version of smash tour, but that behaves like a mario party and uses the in-game mechanics in interesting ways, like, using the ítems in a precise way to kill, or to get from point A to point B(like ending Classic mode and passing through the créditos with the super scope), or not allow You to use attacks or even move and then press a button to do an action, i mean, there are many minigames that You could adapt from Mario party or Pokémon Stadium, then have them in their in-game engine with no problem. I don't know, having all these characters and not seeing them doing more stuff in the game makes me kinda sad, smash could be much more enjoyable in casual, and a Mario party kind of mode would be cool to mix things up, and would not be that difficult to implement, since many of the assets to make the minigames would already be there.

If you want a rpg that is good I will recommend you octopath traveler. I dont care for the cliches of rpgs but I got into this game because of the music and stayed because of the gameplay. It also doesn't have the same stuff with women in this game as many others and is kinda ironic in how they touch on that. The story isn't to strong but I still enjoyed it. I am almost to the end and the final boss doesn't look like he is going to be god so maybe thats something too.

In regards to the political question, I'm always fine with some lighthearted banter like the "Thwomp's conservative cousin" remark, but be cautious when talking about it in more depth than that. You've been doing great so far but it's easy for the one-sided nature of youtube videos to make the creator seem overly preachy or derogatory towards a group. I'm saying this because you mentioned maybe making yourself more clear, but I'd say you're doing fine and should just let people assume whatever. Your clarification here should be enough to quell any gossip. I'm right wing, though we'd probably agree on a lot of things. Nuance is often lost on KZbin and I don't like being talked down to. If I feel like someone is hammering me with insults because of my political beliefs it's an easy decision to just stop watching. And to clarify once more, I think you have been handling it just fine in your videos thus far.

The worst part of most JRPGs in my opinion is the English voice acting. It just hurts me to listen to it because it sounds so fake and terrible.
