did mine today and forgot to remove one gasket on the right side and added the new gasket as well:((((( now 2 gaskets, ran it up to temp and no leaks, should I take it apart and remove the 2nd gasket??? what's your thoughts?

What were the symptoms? I felt like mine is about to go. I can Only hear some grinding noise. But not sure if it is the water pump or timing chain. Only 130k miles on it

@@pablitoramos10 one of the most comun symptom is overheating, also coolant leaking, strange noise happend because of the bearing inside going bad. those water pumps usually go bad between 100k and 150k miles NOT the rule but it is comun

What tools sizes was needed for each step

thats an excellent question that I cannot remember from the top of my head but I'm pretty sure you will need a 15mm for the belt tensioner to loose the serpentine belt. Then a 10mm or 12mm for the water pump itself and finally a 13mm for the bolts holding the tensioner to the water pump. As you can see, nothing fancy. Hope this helps and thanks for the feedback, I will make sure from now on to mention tool sizes.
