Whats funny is that you can beat lu bu here without him running away if you do enough damage before he runs and cao Cao acts like youre insane for doing that and lu bu being pretty upset having to run

To be honest, since I was making my character basically the usual "hero character who is cool and has a cool way to get into a girl and do everything to save her", I spent few attempts to beat him in blind after seeing that cutscene. It was nice to see Lu Bu acting all cool only to retreat and make all other enemies terrified about him fleeing lol. I still don't like how the whole thing didn't let me attempt to save Dongchua from the asshole after beating his adoptive son's ass

Your video inspired me to do try again after getting killed the first time, got him in the final room after finding some extra health items. Then cleared the entire room because i just freakin beat lubu broo!!!!

With this mission, I had no choice but to fight Lu Bu since the AI for Cao Cao doesn't do a good job of running away and keeping their distance from Lu Bu. After about 10 tries I finally beat Lu Bu. It was so rewarding.

I tried really hard. The song hypes me the hell up and I almost did it as he trapped himself by the stairs, but I had a bad dodge and he just wrecked me.

I found Wheels to be easier against him as the spin battle art does an insane amount of stance damage so in 2 combo you usually break it. Dodge whatever atk he throws, then 5 normal hits->Spin BA->hit until he isn't glowing white anymore (this means he will attack) then repeat.

Man, you have to teach me how to do that combo with the spear, which sends Lu Bu flying most of the time and scores multiple hits while in midair. I've been trying to do that combo but not working out for me.

I was about halfway to beating him without getting hit, but then Cao Cao got surrounded and killed lol all the ass whooping I took in Sekiro, made LuBu easy in this game 😂

Nope. Just an achievement if you beat him at Hulao, which is a later level

I tried to do that because my character is pretty much strong at that point of the game because i grind the farming first but i gave up after 3 attempts because my Cao Cao Keep dying. And I thought they programmed to make Cao Cao die if we don't run and i just went with the intended way. Turned out it was my skill issue unable to protect cao cao and beat lu bu at the same time.

The way I did it was with the attack pills and potions to make the nonexistent damage to barely existent damage. Still takes a long time, but it's doable

Oh yeah I forgot there's attack boosters as items. I just relied on aerial attacks, as you can see. They are pretty nuts.

You need to dodge or parry an attack first, that seems to put him in a dazed state so you can knock him up into the air.

oh yea,.. beating him twice only got congratulations LOL! you know what beating him at hulao gate are a lot easier even he is on his horse like half HP cause we have entire Liu Bei force attacking him too... while you know trying to run from him is a lot harder.. .(I ENDED UP BEATING HIM THERE TOO WHICH I KEEP FAILED WHEN TRY RUNNING FROM HIM) 2 v 1 him with cao2 in middle map... i have cao2 tank for a while while im looking for meat buns almost cleaning all the meat buns on map just to fight him WTF
