Very nice video! As you mentioned looking into TL and Surge, it will be interesting to see what you buy or build in the future. I find the RS Ultimate very interesting. Have a nice week! :)

I just added surge & TL to my mega + build ... its amazing! I don't rally but anything that's even a little tail happy on the road just adds so much more depth & feeling ... all combined with vr, it's as close as you'll get!

@@MongrelTom Cool! If you couldn't afford both at once and had to choose, which one would you start with? Rs Mega+ or TL and Surge? Thanks in advance!:)
@MongrelTom6 ай бұрын
@Jan-1337 Start with the mega+, it's amazing in it's own right. Surge & TL are the finishing touches ... all subjective of course but yeah pitch, roll & heave give u so much information & feeling. TL in particular is then the icing on the cake.

I'm loving the new SimHub motion as well. I did have a hard time getting it to work with WRC though. Turns out the motion compensation when turned on, sets some things in SteamVR that causes the game to not even boot up. Turning those off in the SteamVR settings fixed it. The software works really well with Iracing.... much much better than the SRS software does. I always found that I couldn't feel the braking with SRS and Iracing and now it's like a totally different game just due to Simhub. Love my RS-Mega+ system as well :)

Can you send me Google drive link of your setting profile so I can use it?
@peterw89117 ай бұрын
Also the shifting around the cockpit in VR, this is solved with the motion comp. Had it with a physical tracker in SRS, but havent set it up yet in Simhub. It's supposed to be better actually without additional equipment.

Issue with that is I need to install OpenXR and EA WRC does not like it at all - crashes and cannot be launched. I was planning to add at some point gyroscopic sensor to the rig and see how it works, but not much spare time lately so am driving like this for the time being.
@dannygaron7 ай бұрын
@@57uyo WRC does work with OpenXR. It just doesn't work with the OpenXR toolkit. Make sure to turn that pluggin off for WRC. Also, you'll need to turn off a few OpenXR pluggins within SteamVR settings. Simhub adds them for the motion compensation.

Can I ask why you choose to have the monitors stationary?
@57uyo7 ай бұрын
Works better for me. Monitors are heavy and also with the motion I do not have enough space to fit them - they are hitting the walls. Tried with on onboard, but with the motion platform on static seem better for me. Also i use a lot VR lately so even don’t need the monitors so much these days.

hi there can you do a video on setup servo driver settings for racing labs rs mega + and thanos amc controller thanks
@57uyo7 ай бұрын
Hi, drivers come preconfigured, plug-n-play together with the Thanos. The rest of the config is in this video.
@dannygaron7 ай бұрын
Yeah, man.... the whole RS Mega+ kit is just plug and play. Everything is pre configured already. As long as you get the Thanos controller with it.

@@dannygaron and I am very satisfied going with the Thanos, it is worth the money definitely

Looks amazing... do you know the latency of the motion? do you notice any latency at all?
@57uyo6 ай бұрын
It is reported at 1ms with the Thanos controller. It is bot the fastest out there but quite good. I have everything controlled in SimHub so motion reacts same time as bass shakers - I cannot see any perceivable delay myself, all my systems work coherently.

Great Video. After work i will try some of your settings. I switched from SimFeedback / Arduino to Thanos and Simhub. But i still struggle with Simhub. No matter what i try my Rig move very slow. I checked my Thanos controller twice but cant find a reason why it´s not so lively like SimFeedback. Every effeckt is very smooth. With heave my rig goes up and down but i didnt feel a bump really. Overall very nice Software. I am one step away to pull the trigger for SRS. Was hoping I could save myself the trouble and go completely with simhub. Any hint from your side?

Since the new fix it really work like a charm. SimHub is the way to go for motion in my opinion.

Thanks, mate! No idea what is glyph exactly as never heard it, but definitely try out the SimHub while it is still in beta and free. I have a feeling you will stick with it same as me (not sure how it will work with your controller though). ;)
