If you ponder quitting veganism because you don’t like the food, then you’re not vegan, you’re plant-based. Veganism is an ETHICAL stance against the commodity status of animals, NOT a diet.

Just pour some boiling water over dates and let it sit for a few minutes. They will soften enough to be blended into a smooth paste with just a fork and it keeps in the fridge for quite a while. You can enjoy the dates in your dressings easily this way, even without a blender.

I just made the first salad dressing but I used ginger paste and four drops of Braggs AA instead of the miso, since I don’t have miso paste. I put a tiny amount of dressing on a large salad and tossed well. It was absolutely delicious! This recipe is going into my collection as a go-to. Thanks!

it is insane. mine isn't even the 1500 watt, I think it is 1350, and it kicks. worth it. But I will recommend if you do get one get one with a large container. I purchased the basic one that I got for like four hundred (Canadian) and its container is a bit small, but it's not bad for one or two smoothie servings I just would definitely look into container size if you're trying to feed more than just one.

I love your channel. Your presentations are clear, recipes are great, speed of demos perfect, not too slow, not too fast. I like that you show the brands, in many cases, of the ingredients. It would be too much to include every brand for everything you use. Nutritional yeast brand is often not shown in many videos on youtube. SO, the big question is **** what brand of nutritional yeast do you use at home the most?*** I am going to make these sauces. Thank you for sharing your recipes.

Awesome recipes again Derek! Love your sauces. A little trick with your ginger, if you freeze it, it will grate much better and easier into dishes without getting all caught up in your grater. Sometimes the skin on the ginger can get stringy in the grater and freezing definitely stops that. Thanks for the video man 🌱💪🏻

I love the spicy tahini sauce (and next time I'm adding 1/8 or 1/4 tsp Wright's Liquid Smoke).. One suggestion: since the ingredients are added all at once, I suggest that for a given measure (e.g., 1 tsp), the dry ingredients be listed first, followed by the wet ingredients. Thus in the spicy tahini sauce, the list would have paprika precede maple syrup and apple-cider vinegar rather than follow them. (I would also list the vinegar before the syrup.) In this way, some adding ingredient in list order will not find themselves trying to add a dry ingredient using a wet measuring spoon - in this case, adding paprika with a spoon that's just added maple syrup and apple-cider vinegar. - I do like the recipes, though I follow a whole-food plant-based diet and thus don't eat highly processed foods like vegan yogurt. But the other two fit comfortably within a whole-food diet.

If Miles from Healthy, Crazy, Cool is the tahini king I think you should get to be the tahini prince or lord or the Canadian tahini king 😉. Thanks to watching all of you wonderful whole foods advocates I’m getting so good at making homemade sauces. I finally made date paste by blending dates and water and I keep that handy in the fridge and use it in oatmeal and sauces, it was key in making a healthy peanut sauce: peanut butter, date paste (could use maple or agave), chilli flakes, garlic powder, ginger powder, tamari or braggs, and soy milk to blend. Thanks so much for showing us how to make healthy eating tasty, it’s so very much helping me in my weight loss journey. I’ve lost over 130 pounds so far and this channel has been a great help in this.
