Listened to the show today. I understand Simon’s issues with NUFC’s owners (as long as he has the same about other owners, although he is less vociferous about them) but saying “I am not an admirer of Amanda” sounds like a bit of jealousy, from a failed owner who lost loads of money, towards someone who has done extremely well arranging the deal for NUFC to change ownership AND has been the leading public light of the turnaround of the whole club. You talked earlier in the programme about good leadership (siting yourself as an example of course), it’s a pity you don’t recognise excellent leadership (and learn from it) when you see it Simon. Amanda is an exceptional leader, which is shown by the fact she is doing an amazing job in an area that is not her primary expertise. If you don’t understand strong female leadership then just look across your dining table at Michelle 😉

No idea why people keep digging Simon out for what happened at Palace when disagreeing with him. He got them into the premier league in his 30's without using some sugar daddy's money and kept them afloat for a while despite his inexperience. Been the youngest owner and chairman in the country at one point is nothing to be sniffed at. absolutely not the rich clubs can not be the best run maybe have the best influence but do not ever get that twisted. Brighton and Brentford are by far the best if they had that money they would be soo clear. they have great scouts ethics and consistency with how the club works, while brighton had some injection of money they established the right players and style to be able to swap them all out if needed, Brentford have been growing since league two without the money but keeping the same style of football and now with the stats can adjust to all games the only down side they have is other clubs know to go after the players they look at now like the mudrykm situation.

Haters gonna hate. The business is sensible. Antony, Fofana, Casemiro, Nunez, Richarlson were bigger deals than Isak. Being 3rd on the table is nothing to do with Isak and has been an overachievement to the current squad and we'll hear more hate once the position normalizes between 6th-8th. Newcastle current squad value is 8th with current value of €442, West Ham is €474, Spurs is €688 all the way up to Manchester City with €1.12 Billion. New Castle needs to spend €500 more over the next few years to compete with the top tier. Regardless, we the football fans are blessed with seeing higher levels of football. So many good games in EPL.

I keep saying this, I'm a Newcastle fan amd there is no way in hell I'd take a cup over top 4. For me cups and trophies will eventually come no matter what, it's inevitable whether it's in one year or 5 years time. But the money we can garner from champions league will speed up the process like nothing can, the prestige and the pulling power we gain from champions league will grow the club twice as fast and make transfers even easier. No MCFC is the best run club and has been for the last decade. 6th highest wage bill behind the other big clubs and the 10th lowest net spend in the last five years. Only 1 British record transfer fee compared to UTD 5 Liverpool 2 Chelsea 4 All the developments done in the area social housing built, collage built and the best AAA training facility in Europe but the media (Simon Jordan) hates City so this doesn’t get much air time.

I've got a lot of time for Simon Simon Jordan he talks sense and isn't frightened to say what he thinks, being a Newcastle fan the trajectory the club is on is excellent its a steady building process but it is only possible to compete year in year out at the highest levels with sustained investment in all areas of the club and the Saudis have very deep pockets and clearly a long term strategy so as fans we have to be grateful to the PIF for the finances and ambition they are showing to drive the club forward
