I’ve never heard anyone but you call that a “pen hold” even though those who taught me to crochet over forty five years ago told me to “hold the hook like you’re holding a pen”! I’ve never seen anyone else hold the hook that way until now.

From that menu you can choose the speed of the video and you can change that choice at any time you want to even while viewing. There is also a closed captioning for different languages if the video you are viewing supports that option. I hope this was helpful ☺️

Yes, that weight would work well for this pattern. You'd probably use a US size E (3.5mm) crochet hook. The pattern has six sections and uses these approximate yardages: #1 (470 yds), #2 (50 yds), #3 (75 yds), #4 (65 yds), #5 (330 yds), #6 (200 yds): 1190 yards/1088 m total. You could make a smaller version to work with the meterage you have.

Hi Micha, thank you for your comment. I'll try my best to help with Row 9. So in Row 8 you made clusters which are worked (3 double crochet, chain 2, 3 double crochet) into the same stitch so there is a chain 2 space in between. In Row 9 you will work a single crochet in this chain 2 space. I hope this makes sense and is helpful. Please let me know if you have more questions. Have a wonderful day! 💕
