Hi Kristen, I want to share some bbq love with your subscribers, myself included. I used this dry rub recipe on chicken wings in my air fryer. You talk about some amazing flavor, boom! Wings were moist and the rub was on point. Just a heads up that the recipe calls for 4 table spoons of onion powder, but on the video you say to use 2 table spoons of onion powder. Either way, this rub is FANTASTIC!

Sharing a rub recipe that can go on just about any kind of meat. Hmmm . . . Not sure I agree. Wouldn't that make every one of them taste the same? I use different rubs to bring out the different flavor profiles of the individual meats.

Was ok but the skin on my smoked chicken was way too salty. We had to remove the skin. The meat was still salty but not as much . I'll try it with a couple of table spoons of salt instead. Hope that works

If you use dried brown sugar, can you make it last longer? How long would that last? Can you make the rub last 3 months for “grilling season”?

It is NOT too much salt. Do the math. The unsalt to salted ingredients are just about 3.7 ro 1. When you figure a standard Texas pepper and salt rub is anywhere from 1 to 1 to 3 to 1, this rub is really on the less salty side.
