Well, I don't have time to join any art school. Since I work in a IT company, I'm passionate for animation since I was a child and I think I can follow you and I can create the animation all by my self now! Thanks to you.

Channel Colors were automatically disabled for some reason (Blender 3.1). To enable, go to Edit, Preferences, Animation, and check Channel Group Colors down at the bottom. The annoying yellow can be manually adjusted by pressing A in Pose Mode, going to the Armature tab at the right side menu, and under Bone Groups select Special to click on the Yellow swatch and be able to hand pick a darker shade of yellow. Thank you so much for these amazing videos, I'm super hyped about this walk cycle, attempting to animate the shark model from your past videos. Thank you!!! 😊

First, thanks for all the great quality content you are sharing here. It's making my Blender learning experience a lot smoother! Quick question... since it sounds like you are just as, if not more, familiar with After Effects. Do you have a process to prepare these textured/stylized models as a glb file? I've been trying to get them to work inside After Effects (with the latest 3D features in Beta) but I cannot export very easily unless it is a very basic object (no geometry nodes, crazy textures, and so on). Thanks for any insight! :)

@SouthernShotty, question. How wouold I go about ending the cyclic walk cycle and having him come to a rest pose? Having trouble getting them back to the original pose even seroing out their locations and the only thing I have found on the cyclic removes it completely but not at designated frame and beyond. Thanks for this series though, it really helped me understand rigging a bit more than I knew before...which was almost nothing. 🤣

Reset to rest pose, add keyframes. Move to the end of dope sheet. Then insert keyframes in between as needed to smooth out the motion to look more natural. You can also use NLA strips and blending

how I move the character forwards in blender while it's doing it's walk cycle these seems to be 2 different things to be done in order to make the walk movement full. All I see in youtube if full of walk cycle tutorials, but not actualy forward movement.
