I made mashed potatoes too runny one time so I added a couple of beaten eggs and used my electric mixer to mix it up and baked them in the oven for about 40 minutes. They were perfect 👍

I got to have Thanksgiving at a co-worker's house this year, which was so nice. (Especially since I'd had a very difficult and sad week after losing my beloved kitty to cancer last Monday. 💔) I just took a salad and luckily didn't mess that up. My favorite part of dinner was the ham, green bean casserole, hash brown casserole, and deviled eggs. Yummy.

@tayelmore thank you, I miss him so much. It happened so unexpectedly. He just started throwing up one day. A couple days later, he was diagnosed with advanced cancer. And 3 days after that, I had to say good-bye. He was 12 and I thought we had a little more time together. 😢

I did the same thing! I make mine in the instant pot and I forgot to drain them, they were like potatoe soup 😂 I also tried the corn starch- so bad!! At least it will be memorable, from now on we will say remember the year mom messed up the mashed potatoes

I hope you had a happy Thanksgiving like I did, Taylor. 🦃 I watched the televised parade. I feasted for dinner. I ate turkey, stuffing, honey glazed ham, mac-&-cheese, corn pudding, collard greens, jellied cranberry sauce and rolls. I drank sweet tea. I got so very plenished. I was fuller than my expectations from previous Thanksgivings. After I rested and relaxed in the recliner, I ate a wedge of a chocolate cream pie. I have an example of the word "plenish". The chef can pour olive oil into the large round condiment squeeze bottle towards its bottleneck before screwing on the squirt nozzle.

Awesome meal ideas! Lol, you and I both messed up our mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving! 🤦‍♀️ Yours were too runny & mine were way too lumpy for my liking. Ugggh, there's always next year for us to redeem ourselves with the mashed potatoes Taylor! By the time i made mine, i was too tired to pull out my hand mixer, so whatever! 😂 I hope Walmart will have the tomato soup for y'all. My Kroger has the Hearty tomato soup. At least they do according to the app. We do not like chunky tomato soup and prefer Campbell’s tomato soup.

The beef and broccoli ramen looks really good. Our turkey got overcooked. It was small - mainly just the 2 of us this year, although my kids did eat a little with us after being with the other side of their family. Anyway, boyfriend wanted to spatchcock it and it was probably done in an hour instead of the hour and half-ish we had it in the oven. Ah well, all the sides and pie were yummy.

Don't feel bad Taylor, my buttermilk biscuits didn't turn out very well. But it was my very first Thanksgiving I cooked my self. One year I ruined the turkey. I used a silicone oven mitt to pull the turkey out to baste it and left it on the oven door so when I closed the oven door the oven mitt was in the oven. There were noxious fumes several minutes later and the turkey was ruined. I cried. At least we had ham.

Nobody carries the Progresso Hearty Tomato in store anymore, you have to find it online. Walmart does have it but you have to get like a 4 or 8 pack. 10 Box does but I don't know if you have one.

Don't knock yourself about the mashed potatoes. Look at all you fixed and have for leftovers. I usually lurk but I must tell you that I just made my favorite soup from childhood this weekend and I ate on it for 4 days. My dad was from SC and his grandmother passed it on to my mother who was an amazing cook. It's tomato & rice soup with 3 (to 4) ingredients: some type of pork fat (my mother favored country style pork ribs but that was when they left more fat on them, bone in also helps the flavor), 2 cups of rice and tomato juice (or V8, homegrown and canned tomatoes are the best) and you can add a can or so of tomato dices if more texture is needed. It's better the next day because the rice really absorbs the broth and tomato juice. Since you are in GA, you may be familiar with it. We also used a pork base to make SC upstate hash which is mustard & vinegar based. So good! Thanks for the video!

The pork chop meal is one of our family favorites. I forgot to add the rotisserie chicken to my chicken, broccoli and rice casserole on Thanksgiving. 🤦🏻 It was still delicious, though. 😂.

I ruined most of the entire Thanksgiving meal!! The turkey, homemade cranberry sauce, the pumpkin pie (my son made) and the cake were delicious but the green bean casserole, the corn casserole, the dressing, the squash, and the mashed potatoes were not very good 😢 I was so disappointed. I decided that I am making something simple for Christmas. The boys all have several different places to go anyway. I’ll probably make soup and appetizers. I hope you all have a great week ❤
