Looks good, IS GOOD! One step further again. Next step looks big, but it is all 4 x 8 sheets, but yes, one full sheet and then measure to do the next. But is think that it all will be faster than the framing of the roof and then the ice and watershield. And then the rain/snow may come for then there is plenty of inside work to do in the meantime! Congratulations on your achievement and perseverance!!

Yeaaaah!! You know if we had a boat lying around that we could cut the bottom off you would have what you needed. You could turn the cut portion of the boat upside down and nail it to your roof. But I like what you both have done lots lots better. And I'm willing to bet what you put together is loads stronger. Also hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Me southern AZ.

Gary apparently u didn't read a comment from a construction worker about your the placement of your safety rope. Should be connected to your back and not the front and I noticed you have it connected to the front. If u fell off backward then you liable to hurt your back.

In the future, if you want to make installs like this easier, clamp a 2x4 under the end of the outside -most rafter tail. Let it stick out about 18 inches. Nail another 2x4 chunk to the end of that vertically and you have a hook to rest the rafter in. If you know the location where the attachments will be, pre-screws some screws in to sink once the board starts to go in. Use your speed square to plane the rafter tails and edge board together.
