Great video! I have the EZ 100, which I bought in a pawn shop in Carson City, NV. The pawn shop was clean and not scary. There was no electrical cord/foot pedal, but it did have the standard presser foot. It was still a good deal for $69! I had it cleaned, etc. by my local shop, and they found a cord for me. Got the manual online. Got the rolled-hem plate, beading foot and elastic foot from Sewing Parts Online. Sewing Parts Online also Carrie’s the loopers and the knife. The feet, etc. that fit the 804 also fit the 100. This is like a giant commercial for Sewing Parts Online. My EZ 100 was manufactured in 1993-great little machine. No differential feed, but I get great results anyway.

It turns out that one time I walked into a pawn shop, and they had an overlook sewing machine. Without hesitation I bought it at a price of 60 dollars. Since these are used items, the price is well below the actual new price. I was fortunate to find it in very good condition. Very well preserved, well calibrated, I really didn't have to make any adjustments. Just a good cleaning and a little oil on its gears and that's it.I found the Simplicity Model SL803 3-thread sewing machine. It is truly one of the things that I will never regret buying this item.I've had it for about 10 years now, and I've only had to clean it... However, over time, I learned to handle it perfectly to the point of being able to do full maintenance myself. I learned how to disassemble it, remove the front covers and lubricate the entire mechanism. I learned how to calibrate it from the differential tension to making the most of its functions. Since I acquired this machine, I have improved significantly in my quality, by giving it a "factory" finish, to the point that many times they don't believe that I did it. They think I bought it from a factory or in a boutique.All the clothes I've made. From sizing shirts, sweatshirts, jeans, to making a wedding dress. I have been blessed to purchase this machine, including another sewing machine with straight and zigzag stitch. With both machines I have managed to do wonders! In truth, if at some point in your life you have the opportunity to buy one, be it this model or brand, or another model or brand, it doesn't matter. In the end, what matters is the aesthetic and functional finish of all your creations. Just do it and enjoy this wonderful experience. Have a beautiful life. I'm with you. 👊🏻😎

Jacqueline, I just got an Simplicity Expert Sl4390 ed and would like to know where to get a Manuel for it. I have never used a server before. It doesn’t have attachments with it , but the junk store I bought it from said it sewed good. I was wandering how old it was. I would appreciate feedback. Thank you.

I am now trying to put new needles in using two needles and four spools, I have new needles are both needles suppose to be the same, am sewing a knit fabric, not heavy, have Schmetz overclock serger ELx705 CF 90/14?

I looked into a manual it does say upper looper and bottom looper are the last 2 thread in the back.

yes, however it's not clear It states the numbers marked on the throat plate are the width to the right needle and the distance between needles is 2.2 mm. Therefore the width to left needle is an additional 2.2mm

If you want I tell people always time to make sure is to measure from the needle to where want the fabric to go then take painters tape and mark it. This way they won't hurt their sewing machine with duck or masking tape
