Excellent point! Did you ever hear The Isley Brothers version. It's so beautiful as well. Just to let you know that Ireland/Scotland/England have had some amazing Blue Eyed Soul Singers. Him, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Dusty Springfield (Born Mary Catherine Elizabeth O'Brien), Duffy, Amy Winehouse (RIP), Nadine Coyle formerly of Girls Aloud and of course Adele. Growing up when Rhythm & Blues first became popular, UK Artists were more "Vocal about their passion unlike America in the 1950's. Also did you ever hear them do "Sunrise" Sampling Hall & Oates "I Can't Go For That". .

We didn’t just pop in to Napster and freaking listen to them. There is something fun and exciting about having to wait for your song to come on the radio. I remember I had my boom box with a blank cassette tape and I waited for my son to come on and then I would have record so I would have it on my cassette tape. Those are the good times! Life was more simple and amazing!
