for the people that are wondering what happened here: Simulacra has several horror youtubers in its program where if you enter that youtubers youtube name it will instead change to the actual real name off that youtuber. It will not work with your name, it only works with big horror youtubers who put in their youtube nickname. This is also why it didnt work with markiplier because he entered a random name he thought off on the spot here instead off him entering markiplier.

Similar to something like this: if (input.PhoneNameText = "Jacksepticeye") { output.PhoneNameText = " Seán William McLoughlin" } else { output.PhoneNameText = System.user; } (Obviously the strings probably aren't called "PhoneNameText" and stuff like that, it's just to make it simpler to understand) Another thing for other programmers that may be reading this, I'm aware that this was written in C# and it's only really Unity that uses C# and tbh idk what engine Simulacra uses so i just wrote it in the language i understood most

ye for those wondering, it can only be truly done with notorious/famous youtubers or streamers that plays this kind of game (indie investigation horror) as it's generally hard for a game to access some of your files and it's mostly stated in a contract that it's private (same goes for your steam account or whatever you think they go through to get your name) because here they trully get their full real life name *because* they are famous and their actual names can be found on the Wikipedia. That ain't the case for us commoners tho :/ (or blatant case scenario, they'll find your computer account name, as done with DDLC, but mine was *"Techgoesbrrr"* so i kinda laughed and also was surprised when that happened.

Simulacra is one of those games that genuinely kept me fully engaged throughout. That’s why I love horror games and unique story telling games so much.
