So... Just had my first major catering delivery... 102$ tip... 110 total, totally shocked... That info from ages ago is crazy now with this new system. Took a month for the kinks to shake out but catering has been wild this weekend, had multiple bangers but this one... Crazy... Stay blessed and keep the positivity up.

So the 80% AR / 150 deliveries in 30 days to maintain Gold/Plat dropped in Los Angeles. Could be just because it's memorial day weekend, but I only managed $18/hr today (Sunday) in 5 hours. Extremely slow, the lowest I've ever made before the Tier System was implemented on a Sunday was $20/hr, but 95% of the time $23-$30/hr (excluding Prop 22) when the Top Dasher system was still a thing. Currently I am only Silver @ 65% AR because I refuse to deliver a 10.5 mile order for $10.50 in Los Angeles because it'll take 30min to complete and 25min to return to my zone. Not sure if I should just eat the BS and bank on Prop 22 funds on Monday, or continue to decline the crappy $4.75 for 4.1 miles that will literally take 30min to complete due to traffic. Guess I'll have to test each method out for a week at the risk of the no tippers reporting food not delivered.

Pro tip: I like the Sephora orders because there's usually a few dimes in there and always willing to help. I've done one before where I'll leave a Google review with the person who helped me in front of them checking out. Then they'll be even more eager next time 🏆

Where are you getting that doordash doesn't do pick ups anymore from "Total Wines & More"? I'm in CA. Since February, it's no more shop and deliver, However, its now like a regular restaurant pick up. My friend up in Spokane, Wa says they are still shop and deliver. BTW, positive vibes back to you.

Nevada has never had alcohol deliveries because of our gambling laws. So all of our total wines and lees liquor's unfortunately are unable to sell alcohol on the DD app.

Just buy a used car from CarMax then. quote, pick up, sign paperwork all in one morning for my 2020 Tesla Model 3(30/week electric fee), it was crazy fast if I remember correctly, and it was raining too

It’s pretty simple if you keep your acceptance rate in the 90s, you get awesome orders and that’s just a fact. Don’t get me wrong. They’re still going to send you two dollar orders to go 9 miles sometimes but taking one or two every once in a while to keep your acceptance rate up is more than worth it. That’s when Doordash will start sending you $25 and $35 orders.
