It's the best because the chef manages to work quitely, which is my preference. Don't have to impress me with fire or anything, just cook the best food you can and I will love it forever.

Lovely. The simple elegance of a skilled chef who takes pride in his work is so much more interesting than the clickety-clack of crass showmanship. What a shame that the restaurant has closed.

That’s quite impressive for the first dish! How chef disassemble shrimps into different parts is stunning, and cooking fish with different treatment about meat and skin! I will try this restaurant by myself for sure.

It's already obvious from parts of the other recent videos that this place is the best. Everything including the ambience, food quality, chef's skills, plating etc. looks on par with the Teppanyaki restaurants in Japan. Isn't this place also the least expensive one you visited in Singapore?

That looks like a meal reserved for royalty. My only critique is the chef adding all that pepper at the beginning of the steaks being cooked. By doing so, the pepper burns, leaving a bitter-like flavor on the steaks afterwards. By seasoning the steak 3/4 before taken off the heat source, it incorporates all that flavor throughout the hot fat "veins" and later will sip in at the resting stage. Try it yourself before commenting, please. .

Looks like it, what a terrible shame. "To our beloved Customers, Vendors, and Friends. It is with the heaviest of hearts that we are writing today to inform you that Hidemasa by Hide Yamamoto has ceased operations effective 12 August 2022. Despite being current in our 2022 rental obligations, we have been unable to come to an agreement with our landlord over arrears accumulated during the height of the pandemic which has affected all F&B businesses in many various significant ways."

jasmine rice is what's supposed to be used, its a fried rice not a sushi.
@frankm7707
@frankm7707 Жыл бұрын
@@IHaveBeenDoingTaxFraud The biggest difference between Japanese and Chinese fried rice is the type of rice used. Japanese fried rice is made with short-grain rice, such as sushi rice, yielding a chewy texture. Chinese fried rice is made with long-grain rice, like Basmati rice and Jasmine rice, resulting in a drier texture. Japanese rice is generally more expensive than long grain rice. The restaurant is cutting cost by using long grain rice. You are missing out if you never had an authentic Japanese fried rice.
