This is a cover. The original is by Cosmo Sheldrake (that's his real name). It's full of references to Winnie the Pooh, Jabberwocky (by the author of Alice in Wonderland), and Peter Pan. The original is a quirky, interesting song that was picked up and used in an iPhone commercial. PTX, of course, does it their own way! But one of their amazing skills is choosing material that they can make the most of.

They’ve never looked better or sounded better. This colorful, energetic piece is a nice counterpoint to their brilliant cover of Sounds of Silence. Kevin and Matt drive the beat and Kirstie and Mitch look and sound spectacular. Scott? He has the best voice of any leprechaun I’ve ever heard (also the tallest). His wonderful voice is the glue that holds it together. It doesn’t seem quite fair that a group of people should be so beautiful and so ridiculously talented too. I can’t wait for the tour, already have my ticket!

Matt came through with the bass in this. He is good a making bass beats, but actually singing words in a bass tone is where he struggles the most. He has improved so much, and this song shows it. You can tell he is working on his craft, and I respect him so much for that. He has such an amazing and rich baritone singing voice. I can't wait to see him continue to contribute and grow as part of PTX.

I love how giddy you got. I was grinning like an idiot the whole time just seeing you reacting to them like this. I mean, yeah...it's Pentatonix :D. Kirstie absolutely blew me away in this. And Scott with his low note and Mitch with his high note :D. Kevin and Matt slaying... I knew the original song by Cosmo Sheldrake a little bit, but I wasn't a big fan. It's not my style. It's fun, but the original is kind of flat all the way through. Pentatonix gave it dimension and made me actually love this song. At least their cover of it :). Great reaction, as always. I'm surprised it took you so long to get to this one, the video was released a month ago. The song became somewhat popular after being used in the Apple commercial for their IPhoneXR. It's so catchy and upbeat. I love hearing it and loved your reaction. Kevin and Matt did great. You tend to forget that it's a capella because of how big their sound is.

You guys nailed it! They are doing what they need to be doing in this song. They are an evolved group now that they have a new member and if they hadn't of evolved the might have just disappeared Into Obscurity like so many other fabulous fans have when they lost a member. I really love this song especially after The Sound of Silence because this is light-hearted whereas Sound of Silence was very emotional for me. Always good to see you two speechless!

As everyone else has said, it is a cover, what I did not see in the comments is; It was written for the Sequel to Nightmare before Christmas, which never happened and went straight to comic book/Graphic novel. Cosmo wrote "Making Christmas" and a few other songs from that movie as well. If you haven't already, you checkout their cover of Making Christmas, Kirstie is scary hot in that Marco....

My comment on Pentatonix "Come Along:" What an utterly delightful video! I had had the opportunity to watch it once before, but I was angry and refused to pay any attention. Then, I recognized my error and had no idea what the name was, to find it again. So this was a total treat. As I said, it does sound like madrigals, but the most merry and charming madrigals, and the most clever, of all. I think it's perhaps more clever than Bohemian Rhapsody, hein? Could anything be more clever than that? I'll have to listen again, on my own. Later: I looked it up, and the music of the Pentatonix precisely fits the definition of madrigals, except that madrigals mostly were popular in the 14th century. You guys probably knew all of that.
