I don't think she "knew". I think she made the decision to go back separately. Then while waiting realized why Cassandra was awake and feeling better. She used that knowledge as an explanation for O'Neall.

@@P226nut Expiry date for card is 01/01 (2001) And the current date is 12/96 (1996) Your card is expired Not specificlly the 1 of January where the problem happens but it could of happened. Also do a search for '2010 y2k atm bug'

@@P226nut Many major business platforms had flaws that they wouldn't understand dates after 1999, and had to be fixed. The fact that your personal PC didn't have that issue, is not relevant.

Seems (tho I might be misunderstanding) you guys are still a bit unsure about where the SGC is supposed to be. The Cheyenne Mountain Complex in Colorado. It's a real place, they just fictioned in some more underground levels. Formerly the home of NORAD, but only a backup bunker these days.

For me, staying with the kid is the easy decision. I have chronic depression with suicidal ideation, so my life doesn't have much value to me. Also. the kind of explosion expected to happen would be so sudden and violent that I can't imagine there would be much pain involved, or that it would last very long.

Sam really is one of the greatest heroines. She's kind of a jack of all trades but not to the point that makes her a Mary Sue. She fails as often as she succeeds. Amanda Tapping can really "tap" into some damn good acting when she needs to. EIGHT! I can see the grief that my wife carries from one, I can't imagine eight. I feel like the suits made them put in the "I just knew" because suits don't have a soul and couldn't comprehend just being there for her registering with people.

She is also tall for a woman, 5'9", and athletic. Which makes her ability to stand with the men believable. We almost never see her in heels and it stands out when she does.

Gender of Goa'uld was explained in episode "Tok'ra" They are mostly genderless but prefered gender of the host. Matter of Queens is like with some frogs-If nessesary,could change gender to opposite sex

Sooooo how do you guys catch any of the show when you're rambling so much while watching it? 😛Gender and sex are very different things. For the Goa'uld, they have no sex and select their hosts based on their preferred gender expression. I'm not sure about the queens though, so I suspect that's like the bees example you mentioned.

I really love this episode, being a teen-child when I first watched it, I didn't at first grasp the situation and just loved Cassie and Sam's connection. But as I grow older this episode gets so many new meanings for me.

bro early stargate is gonna be bad coming off B5 lol it does get as good as B5, in a different way, but it takes like 3+ seasons to get into the meat of the show... ITB when? :P you'll probably have to do Thirdspace first >.< it's a good movie, it's just not ITB

you should do Crusade, a lot of people will probably re-watch the series themselves along with you, cos it's not one that is watched/saved as the main show, but it is still very B5. same world, just different... feel... aesthetic... it feels more like a daytime tv show is all :/ some nice info on the future after B5 tho, so it has that.

Crusade is like Star Trek: Enterprise, it both is and isn't the same thing you guys don't like the season 5 vibe, but it's my fav of the whole show, just in the world, not preachy or epic. it's like having an old friend 'round. i wish they'd continued more with that, but personal preference.
