Oh nice !!! I'm definitely looking into one of these sounds pretty good. My prefered tone on a jazz. Deep bass. Very low treble.

Nice sounding Sire bass, I hope one day to have one in my collection well an jazz bass, the P7 I'm please but a jazz bass would probably make my complete hopefully.

I have the 5 string version. At the store I tried both 1st gen and 2nd gen, 1st gen was 30% cheaper than the 2nd gen but the build and sound quality couldn't close the 30% gap so I choose the 2nd gen. I also tried the ash one with maple fingerboard (2nd gen) but the alder one fits much better to my taste (more mids). Definitely one of the best basses for its price tag. I'm gonna buy another one to convert it into fretless.

I believe they actually have a fretless version of the v7s, so you might not have to do the conversion to fretless yourself!

Very good sound.How do you use your bass amp?
@ArtyPartyMusic5 жыл бұрын
Hi! Which of two basses do you liked more? V7 Swamp Ash o Alder body version? Thanks) I mean, sound quality, versatility, the tone, sound flexibility...

Hi, hard to say but the 5 String seemed a little more balanced and even due to the grafite reinforcement in the neck. The 4 string seemed a little more lively. It's like the same person but the 4 string ist the young and wild one and the 5 string is the experienced and wise adult. I know it sounds cheesy but i think you'll know what i mean. They are both pretty versatile and not that different in sound. Of course you hear the maple fretboard. If i had to choose i would go for the 5 but that's just me.

I bought the alder one. Tested both of them at least 20 mins and decided that I need those beautiful mids :) If you are a slap guy (likes marcus miller style sound) don't think buy the ash otherwise alder is just better.

Have you used some amp for this video?
@LowFrequencySounds5 жыл бұрын
Hey, sorry for the late answer. No amps, straight in the recording interface, no eq or what so ever except for the electronics of the bass. Cheers

It makes me sad how fucking terrible I am at trying to tab out riffs etc by ear. I can even see his fingers but I can't seem to figure out the thing he plays in the first examples, his economy of motion is a little too good to easily tell what he plays.. The root and the 5th I guess is easy to spot but I just cant get it to sound what he plays. :(

I'm terrible at working things out too, God knows how people just hear things and know what they are
