The first time l saw her face was in a village hall, she stood there with others and l just asked "what you doing saturady evening?" well nothingmuch was her reply, so l said, "you are now" Why she asked me , "because were going out" ok she answered. l will never forget that moment in my life, as she was the best thing that ever happend to me. Dear Lady Sissel; I recall vividly the first time ever I saw your face. You were singing "Bridge Over Troubled Waters" with Russell Watson in 2002. (Video published 2009.) I don't know what day, month, or year I first saw that, but it does not really matter. What matters is that it was love for you at first sight (and hearing) for me. Since then, my respect and regard for you has done nothing but grow every time I see and listen to you. I also recall the first time I ever saw my beloved wife's face on September 30, 1980. I said to myself, "she is going to be my bride someday." That took place just a little over 13 months later on November 8, 1981, also my 31st birthday. In less than 3 months we will celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary. I know that you are now re-married and I wish you all the joy and happiness that this life, and the next, has to offer, my friend. You spread love and joy every time you sing. I am a sem-professional musician, and I am the Director of Music (conductor) of two successful Male Voice Choir's. We haven't been rehearsin since our lockdowd (15 months now) but hopefully we will be bak by mid July. As you can probably tell, I adore Sissel and her music. I have been listening to her fabulous rendition of 'Slow Down' with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Her vocal control is sensational and the sound she produces is truly beautiful, it moved me to actual tears. My musical tastes are quite eclectic - the following a favourites of mine. Queen & Freddy Mercury, T-Rex, Lindisfarne, Bouble, Joan Sutherland, Juan Diego Flores to name but a few of many. Met a girl , kissed her and my world changed for ever . Oh yeah I tried to fight it because I knew NO GOOD would come of it . You see I knew enough of myself to know that too , the problem was that it wasn't only my world that had changed , hers had too . So we got married Bought a house , sold the house bought a ship , sold the ship , bought a house again and got 3 kids , well I was right and so wrong , Yes we divorced but we have 3 children so we are bound to each other trough our children . Yes they are grown up and have their own life but they are still our children and we love them and they love us both . I have had relations before her and had after but it's never been the same , that's gone for ever and what saddens me most is the fact that it's the samme for my girl and that's my fault and I have to carry that load the rest of my days . I hope that you too one day will have that feeling that turns your world upside down and I hope that you handle it better than I did .
