I am only two weeks in. Watching you and how much you are loving on your hair, gives me so much encouragement to just hang in there. I came home after my install and wanted to cry. I hated how I looked, especially after spending all that darn money. Well, I did my first wash two days ago, and it does look slightly better. It's still thin but the wash allowed it to swell just a little. Anyway, I'm going to trust the process as they say and give it a year. I love your energy and anytime I am feeling unhappy with my super fine hair, all i have to do is watch one of your videos. You cheer me up and give me a reason to hold on. your energy is uplifting. Your hair is beautiful!

Your journey and 2 others helped me to see that locs on fine hair was doable w/o the plucked chicken head look. It sounds cliche, but, I join my loc'd sistas in saying, " It's the best hair decision, and wish I would have done it sooner". I am so pleased. @@chic619 Yes, luv them. I can wear them up, down, french rolled, crimped, spiraled, basically; everything I did with relaxed and pressed hair except no chemicals, heat and I no longer have to worry about sweating out my style or sleeping pretty on one arm.Y'all know. 😆

I’m so glad you’re documenting this. I’ve badly wanted to start locs but I feel like my hair is too fine. I love full thick hair when I wear any kind of weave or wigs. I know I want my locs the same. This gives me some hope for myself.

Actually, I like it most parted down the middle. The middle part is becoming to your face. Have you tried braiding the flat side and roll it slightly? That might give that side some lift. Your hair is coming along and looking beautiful!

Beautiful journey! Have you tried the wrap-a-loc tool or foam rollers? I have fine hair. When I damp my ends and roll (let it sit for a couple hours) my hair has body-ody- odyyyyyyyyy! Can’t tell me nothing! Curls for the girls! A lil switch up makes me love my hair even more! If you try rolling it- please let us see and let us know how it goes! Journey on Queen!

Sis I love your energy! And my crown is my struggle spot too. I actually went back to my expensive the manechoice vitamins to see if they would help. I also have been using the curlsmith density elixir and the scalp booster or something like that it's called. And I feel like I notice a difference. 🤷🏽‍♀️
