Hooooooola! Your hair is getting so full😍. Love the end result. I refreshen my locs w/an old school roller set😄. It usually lasts for 5-6days..
@lavenialivinglife6 жыл бұрын
¡HOLA! Thank you! 5-6 days?! I get a good two days this way, maybe because the curl is looser? I need to try a roller set.

When did you start adding oil to your scalp? I'm 8 mos in with my sisterlocks.
@cassandrarussell55586 жыл бұрын
I'm 8 months in too😄😄. But I think we have awhile to go-we'll I do at least. My locs aren't matured enough...

@@cassandrarussell5558 Yea. I'm having to go every 4 weeks for Retightening.

I highly recommend everyone to learn to do your their own retightining.. offered at sister locks. Com..

I started using a tiny bit of peppermint oil within my first year to help with itching, month 6 I think. My consultant would add oil when she finished my retis starting around that time as well but only recently did I start using myself. A mouth-full, sorry😬

You are hilarious! 😂😂😂 Your reaction of spraying yourself in the face was priceless! Enjoyed the midweek refresh style! It’s necessary to spruce up those locks, to carry you through the rest of the week! Thanks for sharing! ☺️☺️☺️

Your HAIR!!!!! 😍😍😍 wow!!! I am still struggling with mine. It seems that Kady's always telling me that I have slippage so I am NOT refreshing anything lol. I will live vicariously through your locs for now

How are you securing the ends of your twists? I think my hair is long enough to give this a try. 😊
@lavenialivinglife6 жыл бұрын
My ends are still curly so they twist around each other pretty easily!

😂I frequently mist my face. Really like how your twists come out, looks very pretty.

When did you start putting oil in your locks? I been having mine for 6 months and I want to use a little oil do you think that’s a good idea?!
@lavenialivinglife6 жыл бұрын
Ronnisha Middleton A couple months ago is when I really started to use oil. You should ask your consultant if your locs are ready! Progress at 6 months can vary from person to person🤗

How often do you oil your scalp? I just spritz with water. Have also used rosewater. Couldn't tell the difference with either. I have been following you since your 4th mth. I am 4 mths behind you with my locs. Just changed my name on here. 😊

Thank you for your continued support! I TRY to oil once a week but I forget most of the time😅

Hey Lavinia, that looks amazing. How long does this hold? Do you need to redo it again for it to hold until the next day?
@lavenialivinglife6 жыл бұрын
The curls hold for about two days. The next day, it's still curly but not as much. There's even less curl the next.

Where did you get your sleep cap? I much rather just slip something on rather than tying and your cap looks like the perfect size.

I use a small spray bottle to oil my scalp. Trying to you the spout, I got oil everywhere 😂. That spray in the face though...😂😂 been there and done that.

I promise you I’m not a mean person but I’m at my desk at work and literally burst out laughing when you sprayed your face. I’m sorry!! Lol. The good thing is that rose water is an excellent toner. I loved the outcome!

This is kind of a weird question but how do sisterlocks feel?? Like I would never go up to someone with them and ask if I could touch their hair 😂😂 but I’m gonna get them next year and want to know how they feel texture wise. Also, is there any way to make them soft?? Thank you!!
@lavenialivinglife6 жыл бұрын
Destiny Hmmm🤔 I have to think haha! They’re kind of feel like really small two strand twists but firmer and rounder. I’m not a pro but, from my understanding, striving for softness should come later as in the beginning it can lead to slippage.
