The Setesdal series has been fantastic! It makes me want to visit Norway now more than ever and I know that many others feel the same way. If there is an uptick in Norway’s tourism over the the next few years I have no doubt it will be due to this series and all of your other podcasts. Thank you for all the hard work that goes into producing them!

Feel like you two are my good friends . I love sitting, having my tea doing a little knitting while watching your sit and knit episodes. I feel that if I was walking down the street and saw you I could stop and chat for a bit like an old friend. You Craft Tradition episodes are lovely. Thank you Carlos and Arne for respecting the crafters and speaking with them in the language they are comfortable in. Carlos, you have done a great job translating. Have a great weekend with your team and the kids. See you next week.

I so respect and appreciate your reasoning for allowing your guests to speak in their own language and providing the English subtitles. My only frustration was that the things you were showing us were so fascinating and beautiful that I wanted to watch them alone, but I didn't want to miss anything of the explanations in the subtitles. But that's the beauty of KZbin! I can stop and rewind to review, or watch the videos as many times as I want.

I decided to wait to watch until my early Saturday, lazy morning. Didn’t disappoint. I love hearing different languages. I can read! I think it would be disrespectful to your guests asking them to speak English. It would be like a Spanish speaking person interviewing me and asking me to speak Spanish. I’m YOUR guest. Respect my authenticity. Btw, wish I were bilingual. My grandfather spoke to us in Italian but I lost most of that long ago.

Been loving the series, and the episodes in Norwegian have been wonderful. Subtitles have never bothered me, and after a minute or two, you forget you are reading. Thank you for all the transcription work! Being able to listen to the language spoken by natives and then have the english helps me to start to recognize the Norwegian words as they are spoken. I consider this bonus material in addition to all of the great guests showing their crafts! Love you guys!

Sometimes reading the subtitles meant that I read them and then rewound a bit to see what they were showing. Nothing wrong with that - so much amazing content is worth the extra time to pay attention. All the symbols, the customs, the beautiful handmade items, the history - oh my goodness!! The series is amazing. I am grateful for the subtitles because as with most Americans, I know a few words in other language but only feel confident in English. Thank you so much!!!!!! Your hard work is appreciated. I would love to see the room all finished, but would like to say how beautiful the cabinet full of jumpers is behind you today.

I have enjoyed this series so very much! I don’t really remember my great grandfather Ole Kristian Nelson(Nilson) who was born in Krutåga, Hattfjelldal, Nordland, Norge (Norway) in 1868 and passed in Wisconsin when I was 4. Genealogy has been done and my ancestors are traced back five generations in Norway! Seeing the countryside and hearing the language spoken has been so very special. A very heartfelt thank you for sharing your country with us all! I look forward to more episodes and hopefully you will consider sharing more regions in the future!

I've enjoyed hearing Norwegian spoken and hearing just how many words have made it into English. It's a lovely language to listen to. I was intrigued to notice how a few of the ladies in the videos made a very distinct sound when taking a breath between sentences, like they take a very sharp intake of air rather than the slower one in English. The music fascinates me and I enjoyed it. It put me in mind of a hurdy-gurdy a bit. I heard it played in person when I was a small child in the 70s and loved it.
