I work for American Furniture Warehouse as a OTR Driver. We spend 5-7 days on the road and home for 34-48 hours. The miles are consistent and everything is well pre planned. It's mostly drop and hook. You don't have to have any endorsements. They require 1 year of driving experience. You can make just over 100k a year here if you run your butt off. The trucks run 75mph. I've only been here for 1 month. From what I can see it's a really good company to drive for. I need at least 6 months to give a solid review.

I was thinking about doing US FOODS regional driver position out of Norwhich, CT. but i'm not too sure about that position as i can't find much info on it.

Saw a position out in Winter Haven, FL where they pay "$72 per spin" whatever that means with 3 spins so around $210 a day?..... "Average salary to be $67,000". It's obvious they pay more by what region/state you're in. Also another thing to note, some Sherwin Williams stores are VERY tight to get into and upon being hired by them it would be advised if you learn the routes/pathing from another driver by word of mouth before they throw you to the wolves.

Great video bro.! I work there for 4 years. Great company great benefits. But when you're older like myself. It's definitely for a young man. If you do not know how to back up or drive or have experience in the LTL field. It will be more challenging for you. You have to back off streets and very tight places. Just so you know it's not what you think. They don't mention the back halls you have to get coming back. They have you waiting all day sometimes to get a stupid back haul that cuts into money. I worked out of Buford GA. We didn't have electric pellet jacks. We had to do everything manually. My shoulder still hurts from pulling that paint all those years. If you have an electric pellet jack. You will be fine. That paint is no joke. It's heavy and it's hard to push it sometimes especially when you're on an incline at some of the stores. But keep up the good work!

I worked there for about a year ...you are right about the pallets , some can be heavy and alot of parking lots have an incline which makes it worse..

​@@drewcarr1how hard is the parking though i started at schneider years ago on the dicks sporting good account and that backing was insane too easy sometimes. I mean is it impossible too get into these place is it blind side or atleast sight side backing? With proper set up is it doable? Im a pretty good backer i believe ive been team driving with my wife for 5yrs so don't get too back as much these days but i obviously still can. Dicks sporting goods is all mall strip deliveries sometimes were in the morning when stores are open that was a bitch. I think i can do it. Do you go out with a trainer first? Id hope they would atleast show you the ropes you would know by then if your backing is worth of shit or not lol.. I would go ltl but man starting at the bottom and on call i have too many bills too go backwards. Would you recommend working here at sherwin williams?

Currently haul for fedex ground the past 3yrs hauling doubles easy work but sit around waiting for loads for 12-24hrs with no layover pay and no drop and hook pay.. we are at a point where we rather be home everyday or often which is why im looking too go regional or otr solo with sherwin williams its getting paid for all tasks and honestly the pension that intrigues me most..

Wao for me 65 is no money but I am in nyc so depends on where u are if u are in Mississippi or Arkansas that will be ok because the costs of living i less and also remember if u have a lot of bills that’s not enough money bu also remember if they said that u can make 65000 u will make more make sure u get medical and 41k and vacation and find out which one pay OT goods luck
