I kinda like that the movies are not just skating but you also get some bts and an insight into the lives of the people. It makes you connect with the skater much more, rather than just watching a trick after a trick.

Yea I think that insight really add to the culture. It's something I've talked about loads that rollerblading could really benefit from. Everyone loves the b-roll. It these instance, i don't think they were packaged as effectively as they could have been. Bobi deserved a much deeper dive. From talking to people and comments i've seen on forums peoples are less likely to go back and watch that edit because they can't be bothered to skip through that to get to the skating

I think we should have a minutes silence for all the wheels that will inevitably crumble after the Livingston skate. That concrete jungle is a wild, rough and rugged beast. Imagine if you made a bowl out of a concrete cheese grater!

The candy name thing threw me a bit, but the skating in the edit kept me interested. Might have been within himself but i did enjoy seeing him just skating lines and not going massive on every trick. Wonder if he just missed the memo on the original candy vid. Carlos bernal going super saiyan was another highlight this week.

Yea great skating and flowing, no slight on him, more of compliment that I feel he’s got bigger in him. Yea I suspect the name was just a memory slip and he’d already called the skate that, throw “project” in front to make it a lil different. It’s no biggy really but it’s avoidable. Yea some mad stuff in the Bernal one!

The other day I was in a charity shop and I found this sick white coat for only 4 quid, that's all. (edit) That day I also had to fight the urge to grind a perfect rail, I lost that fight and grinded as much as my shoes let me. I don't even do agro, it's like my subclass in a video game, urbans my favourite if I hadn't made it clear. Tom, as you're been skating for a few decades, is there any tips or important things I should know. Also is there anything important I should be looking out for, like catching bad habits or gear that can make my life slightly more convenient. I especially need a better way of carrying my skates

Grinding is defo very appealing. In terms of tips, find a skate they fits your foot well. If you can go to shop and try on skates that’s the best way. Try them all on. Mostly just have fun when you skate, set little challenges and remember you’re doing it for your on benefit no one else’s so it’s doesn’t matter what other people think
