In my opinion, every brand can be used for everyday attire, but I don't think you should wear anything Thrasher, Peralta or Skull if you don't skate. It's kind of like wearing a University sweater to a school you didn't attend lol

Dude, my first skateboard was a legit walmart ninja turtles board when I was eight. I had it for two years, plastic trucks and all. I don't Skate, but I took a class on setting up Mountain Bike shocks. The bushings in the trucks are springs. Tightening a spring does NOT increase the "spring rate" only getting stronger springs will do that.

speed wobbles are definitely not caused by rider error, it is the type of truck you have, most trucks cant handle the speed, and you need trucks specially made for bombing.

Tight or loose trucks are like a double edged sword. I prefer them tighter I find it easy to do flips with but then it’s harder to land them as where I find loose trucks are harder to flip the truck but so much nicer to roll away

The balance one is really true, I can barely walk across an elementary school balance beam but I have a decent bag of flip tricks and can nose manny most manny pads and almost as far as I want. If you have bad balance 100% don’t let that stop you from skating

Well actually having tighter trucks does reduce speed wobbles significantly that’s why downhill longboarders use really tight trucks and you can even buy downhill trucks that are made to be less responsive to prevent speed wobbles
