I so wish I had discovered skating when I was younger, when I was still smoking weed. A decent skatepark where you feel a little tucked away from the world would just be the perfect spot to light up a nice big doobie, and then kick back and relax listening to some tunes and watching guys pulling their best tricks.

Anyways was wondering if you plan on doing like individual trick tutorials in the future? Like per say 360flip or hardflips etc.? Something about the way u explain the little extra details just really helps me understand an learn things so I believe other intermediate skaters would also appreciate videos like this for those that can already skate pretty comfortable on a board an would like to learn some new tricks

Hi JB !!! I am a new 45 year old skater who is learning to skate bowl thanks to your videos !!! They are incredible and easy to understand ... my sincere congratulations for your work !!! Could you advise me the type of perfect wheels for the bowl and ramps? I am currently wearing 2.3 "bones hawk-birds-eye-84b but it seems to me that they have little tread. Which one would you advise me? By the way, I am writing to you from Spain. Greetings!!!
@SkateparkLessons3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Tony! I really appreciate your kindness and support. Actually the wheels you have right now are perfect! You have some of the best wheels ever made! Skateboard wheels don’t have tread. Cheers to you and Spain 💙🛹🇪🇸🛹💙

i would advise against putting hand sanitizer on an open wound. The alcohol is too harsh. It will be clean, but you're actually slowing the healing process via mild chemical burn. Soap and water is best. Unless you have iodine handy.

Thanks

@@SkateparkLessonsid keep the hand sanitizer but add a small travel first aid kit, you can buy them premade or research diy lists for the essentials to make your own tailored more toward common skating injuries. IMO id preferably also get one or two opiate overdose narcan kits, and just put the stuff inside the first aid kit. Never know when somebody might need their life saved. Great vids btw.

Knee gaskets?? Where can I get these my knees are in pain not even from skating 🤣 could use something better then the copper fit
@SkateparkLessons3 жыл бұрын
Sounds like you might have tight IT bands and if you foam roll them it should help take the pain away. Old Bones Therapy knee gaskets are made for skateboarding to create compression around you knee and extra padding around your knee cap for when you have knee pads on and knee slide. 💙🛹💙

Why are American skate parks always without graffiti? That is beautiful!
@SkateparkLessons3 жыл бұрын
No graffiti makes it much easier to read the transitions and keeps the concrete from getting slick from the paint build up. We do have parks that have graffiti as well and they are usually slick and harder to skate. 💙🛹💙

Small first aid kit? You got a laptop but no small first aid kit? Do not use hand sanitizer for first aid as it doesn't work well and says not to use for wounds on the bottle. I would rather use water from the water bottle/bathroom and then use neosporin and bandage. I would recommend more comfortable earbuds over big over the ear headphones but if you are traveling with your backpack, I think a JBL Clip mini bluetooth speaker is a good idea. I think it is too dangerous to ride with earbuds on a bike/skateboard in busy areas or traffic. I think riding with some earbuds (low volume) in a safe area like with very few people in a skate park should be OK. I really like the idea about the lock with the backpack. I would add like a luggage lock so they can't quickly open it easily. I do find it funny how he has a $70 kryptonite disk lock with a little thin 2mm coil cable. It is a for a motorcycle disk. I am not sure what is a good way to securely lock a backpack though as it is just fabric straps. Someone with a knife can simply cut/burn/pull the strap. It is still a great idea to lock it up somewhat. Stop the quick grab and go thief. Still keep your eye on your backpack, stay close and don't get overconfident because you locked it with little tiny cable. I am thinking of a lighter weight commuter skate backpack and a larger skatepark backpack where I drive to the park.
