The end of this is what I remember I mentioned to one of you scary situations, your log butt was up in the air Boat I think 2025 feet and I text you and said start at the end. Good to hear you doing what I think is safest for you. And I pray for your crew out there you do a lot of dangerous work out there. Good job though very good entertaining. I miss Being out in the bush I wasn’t a faller, but I was a chaser for cat logging. Fun and yet dangerous. Good job and great 👁️shots of your hard work , stay safe 👍🏽✌🏽💫

Yes it sometimes makes more sense to start bucking from the top first. Thanks for watching🤙

Leaping and landing on the stump to finish bucking was a cat like maneuver , very impressive

Wow! That bucking cut at 24 minutes -- if it was that close to ME, well.... I think I'd be throwing away a pair of undershorts!

How does the company get all the trees you fall out of the forest? It would be cool to see that operation.

The yellow straps are to keep the tree from braking apart on landing.

Hi Bjarne, I might've missed it in the video, but what was the purpose of the undercut not lining up? Was it just an "oversized" dutchman? Thanks!

It’s just a method I use. Once I make my first cut and knock it out, I can then see where my cut are to each other. Then I reposition my saw so the following cuts connect together. Hope that makes sense

The big cedars get pretty brittle, its to try and hold the trunk together when it hits the ground instead of busting apart.

Usually only on cedars. They tend to split at the base. So they strap them tight in hopes that it doesn’t split when it falls.
