Ski Wakeboard Boat Cotter Safety Pin selecting and installing

The previous boat owner did not install and cotter pin and the dealer didn't bother checking. If you don't want to lose your propeller - spend 5 minutes and install a cutter pin.
You can get it in any HW store for under a $1. Make sure you buy a stainless steel one. I used a 1/8 in. x 1-1/2 in. Stainless Cotter Pin.

Is that the stock propeller that came with the boat? 13 x 17.5VL 1 1/8 497?
