If that is from KR solo rank I'll be suprise that Karma didn't know that anyone with hook or skillshot with DM can use it to cheese their opponent. I guess karma is focused on other stuffs on that play and did not pay attention to that. As you've said CHALLENGERS SEEN THEM ALL. I play Naut so I very much know thqt trick since DM arrived a few years ago. It's just that it's rarely used this days I think even in the higher levels of play. So, am i doing good if i have 81% WR at plat 3 by playing top lane at moment, trying to go high as possible with current skills what i have Im not doing anything special, i use sure fire champions and sure fire strats while adapting on chaotic environment of low elo Aatrox, GP for first pick everytime, these 2 are harder to counter but you will still get hard game if you get countered not impossible to win I would normally look for pick in Jax, Camille, Rengar, Olaf, Volibear, Graves and mordekaiser (yes this is alot of champions to play as but not that hard in the end) Winning strat that has worked on me that i don't really look for winning my lane but focusing winning the game Sounds confusing doesn't it? Aim is to play sure plays looking to punish every single mistake, enemy goes to roam - ping like crazy and ping you go for plates - you generate more gold and exp because you didnt go for unsure play ALWAYS AIM FOR HERALD - herald holds more value than dragon, heralds gold value is tied to turrets so going for 14 min sure play strats gets you skyrocketing ahead in gold and exp - dragons value scaling starts at 25 min mark for first 2 dragons but sometimes you can try get those Play for jungler - no matter how good or bad your jungler is you can always make him shine harder if you help no matter what at 3:05-3:31 top side river if both junglers started at bot side - if not then do pseudo presure top to set up invades for enemy jungle for good exp and gold ALWAYS TRY TO PUT SOME MEANING FOR YOUR DEATHS - if you die without getting summs off or getting plate, taking all pressure on you then you just threw your own lane Don't focus on winning lane, you get tunnel vision from this and don't see bigger picture of things, you might see bigger and better plays when you have eyes open all times You might win lane but does it mean you win game? Not every time so ignore winning lane, it is only by product of things Play normals till you get loss - Riots algorithm tries to give you bigger chances to win for 85% of chance to win that game, Abuse this Taking loss on normal will give you "ticket" for next game that helps you to win, it doesn't disclose normal to ranked transition Don't tilt on things that don't really matter like team mate dying or anything - you will have games where you just have bad game - those happen - always go in new game with fresh mind regardless of win or loss DO NOT TALK TO TEAM MATES - ONLY USE PINGS OR IF YOU HAVE TO TYPE JUST TELL INFORMATION AS SIMPLY AS POSSIBLE - so everyone in your team will react what you say MUTE PEOPLE WHO JUST SPAMS PINGS OR SHOUTS AT CHAT - they inflate your only place where information if gathered Take examples from people who went korea for bootcamp - tyler1, baus, etc etc Why? You will see that any of those many players aren't in actuality mechanically good players, they are good team mates

What's really funny to me is that all of this has been stuff that I think about as an adc since I hit plat. For instance, the demat -> hook play is something I'm permanently aware of, and I constantly play with this mentality of breaking the "rules" of the lane in order to find leads in lanes that should lose on certain win conditions. What has held me back the entire time is that I would play soloq with autofilled supports who didn't do these things when I was imagining them, and then I also was trying to only win my lane, instead of just using my mechanics to find leads in fights around the map. I was caught in the idea that adcs are too underpowered in early levels. Since the durability update, I've been pushing and joining invades, mid fights, forcing 2v3's bot, and I've been finding significant leads, and have started skyrocketing up towards diamond. I'm amused because even in d4 mmr now, I recognize that I'm still much better than these players, and to see videos like this that tell me that my understanding of the game really has been on the level of core in most aspects, assures me that I can achieve my dreams. I'll see you all on the LCS stage soon.

I guess it s pretty unexpected to have renata apply this strategy but that is something thresh and ez would be aware of in challenger. it s a laning fundamental pushed to its absolute limit. This only works at this level of consistency due to the rank and region. I’ve seen many supports that do and don’t do the things shown in this video. Not farming with melee supports on a difficult lane, should be standard practice. Using relic or minion dematerializer to land a hook is also something that many players who play hook champs tend to attempt (also last hitting minion into hook, or letting your teammate last hit into hook). But it is a specific play that is really circumstantial. Roaming is extremely relative. I’ve seen ranks and games where roaming is just a waste of time. Lanes fully pushed, enemy junglers who don’t gank, getting ping spammed for roaming or taking exp whilst roaming, not having a jungler to coordinate with, and so on. All these problems will be a common occurrence up to diamond (and even beyond), and depending on the server it may be like that even in challenger. He is a skilled player with good micro and macro, and those things are definitely important, but nothing beats a team of 3 bad players strongly underperforming. And this video was more of a display where you praised his skill, rather to actually attempt to explain how this could be used in much lower rank games where any kind of team reliance often could lead to failure.

I truly think that most of these highlights are just plain overthinking... like when you read a book and the author its like: "The wall was red" and you see a bunch of people like "oh the red means about passion and blablabla" and no, the author just wanted to put "the wall was red". All that "Oh he was supposed to get hooked by Thresh because" cmon dude...
