Hey beelz, gotta a run today where I got the mages legendary, and completely swapped my build to little skul. As it turns out I did it just in time as the slime king was in the next room. I sold all my physical and gold items and then in the shop after I found the necklace and shade. I ended that run with final cursed Oberon, 630% magic damage, and 340% skill cool down. In conclusion thanks genuinely for teaching me to play. Safe to say I wouldn’t have loved this game so much if it weren’t for your frankly fantastic videos.

Fun fact: some natural damage from skulls count as skill damage like thief's coin drops or Lich's deathtrap, allowing for easier unlocking of the demonomicon

I started playing skul a couple of months ago and finally managed to beat dark mirror lv 10. The first time I was able to beat dad and little skul but then died to Alexander. Second time, I just skipped little skull and beat Alexander. I was actually surprised because it started out as a horrible run, and I had already lost my life to the sisters playing as alchemist with slime. But I'll say as a first time alchemist user, he was good. Paired with reapers (my favorite character) I-frames and slimes invulnerability, it ended up being a good run. I credit it all to beelz and his many videos. There are so many weapons, inscriptions, and ways to play that it can easily get overwhelming, especially in those higher level mirror runs. It all gets tempting when you get to the later stages, and the game starts throwing legendary after legendary at you. Hearing beelz say his "I have a plan" kept me on track to stick to my original plan haha. All that to say, your videos truly help and I appreciate the content.

The tibia is a great thing to take after Dark Skul, after building the buff to 50 by just MOVING, attacking will make ALL instances of damage a critical hit. Including Items. Imagine the emperor fight you had but all of your fireballs and earthquakes were crits.

I've had the "extra item" bug before, for some reason the mod menu sometimes thinks you have extra pages, usually just change it to 2, then back to 1 to fix.

Console needs to have the debug menu again. Closest thing to mods that PC has. Real talk, Why is DM10 so much harder than even DM9? It is, it is so much more difficult on every aspect. I can't use the Skul spam, no other skull works for survival or damage, I can't even make it through the first level without dying. DM10 is just way too hard.

Beeeeeeelz, question about the Mage’s necklace since you have multiple of it Is it a hard mode change that makes items better, you Giga spamming head toss, or a random inscription that I didn’t see? Because when I had it during a run a week or two ago on switch, and it didn’t spit out that many fireballs that quick-

Every time you use a skill it summons one of the fireball orbs, which shoots 3 fireballs before it goes away. It works well with Skul because you can Throw Head - Teleport - Throw Head very quickly. All of these steps count as a skill use, so you immediately get 3 portals opening up fireballs. Keep picking up the head and throwing it + teleporting to it and fireballs are everywhere. In Dark Mirror there's a dark ability called Go-Getter that makes items do more damage. I also chose that.

Ghoul and Shield are the go-to picks for clearing the game with less RNG required. All you need is 2 points in Revenge and after that grab whatever damage or defense you can. I use mods in my game all the time but nothing that helps the run. I use them for getting skulls and items I need to start videos. My wheel and Archlich are modded though.

@@LordOfCookies013 Depends how confident you feel. I do suggest having at least 1 offensive inscription, either Arms or Courage at at level level 2. You can probably grab 1-2 more defensive items like Carleon Armour, Knights Determination, Warriors Pauldrons etc then fill the rest with utility/damage

Whilst watching this i beat mirror 10 for the first time 😭❤: i had The absolute and grandmaster ninja, i had the mini boss sword guys legendary,pot of greed,ancestral bracelet,medal box,olive tree cudgel,the hand that gives +120% max strength,executioner axe ,the apprentice thing that gives +35% strength and +40% concentration speed and finally fulgent dawn WITH the wisp the quintessence that resets cool down …. ALSO super baby,last resistance,Mountain pressure with the flag thingy that reduces other ability cooldowns when using an ability 👍👍👍👍👍

Big mountain pressure isn’t really good, especially for these skulls since you’re almost always gonna be using your abilities, only time I could think it’s good is a warrior run
