SkyFOX video shows massive landslide in Palos Verdes Estates

Not sure if anyone follows the news regarding all these landslides near the coast but it’s a big issue. From San Diego all the way to Big Sur. The hillsides near alot of these coastal areas are giving out creating hazards. It’s been a long time happening but this time around it’s been happening more frequently.

Man I'm kinda nervous. about all those houses. an properties on the cliffs! Like I was at Torrey Pines and people were literally breaking off big chunks of the cliff with their hands and rocks! There's no way these places are safe

Maybe, they built their homes away from the cliff and erosion has given them beachfront property. I don't know why anyone in California would even buy a house on a hill!

Crumbly sedimentary soil of Palos Verdes, the whole hill is like this. All the watering these holes have done for 60+ years I am surprised it did not happen sooner. Paseo Del Mar homes next???

Growing up in Malibu we use to call that area Hamburger Hill because once you bought a place im that expensive place chances we're pretty good all you could afford to eat was hamburger due to your large mortgage. Our old house in Malibu where I grew up sits on a mountain that has seen fires and mud slides over the years destroy many homes.

Those homeowners should stop watering their yard. There are deep actively eroding fissures based on the size and location of that sinkhole
