I so want a sea elf invasion to be the premise of ES6. Maybe it could be more complicated than that though. Let's say the white-gold concordat is no longer honored and the Thalmor usurps the throne. This sparks a great war that leaves both sides weakened, which sea elves see as an opportunity to get revenge on the high elves. Maybe they even make a dark deal with a daedric prince and bring some world-ending sea monster with them...

I knew about the sea elves (also known as the tropical elves ) since morrowind came out. In ebonheart a man named lezagor has a book in his shop ,the book is called "Far across the sea".It has all sorts of lore , for example it tells some lore about the king of pyandonia "Orgnum ". Pyandonia is the land of the sea elves and in the book it tells of how horribly cold and boggy the bleak archipelago is. It also has a good bit of lore about the native elves of the black marsh, it is said that the elves from black marsh went extinct in the second era because of a deadly flu. If you knew all or some of this stuff ,please leave a like .🏹🗡🛡

@aurafinder32506 жыл бұрын
The Avid Gamer True, however there definitely seems to be more falmer than snow elves out there. Over the course of an era, it seems more likely that like mentioned in the game, the falmer may gain communication with other races than snow elves just coming out of their hidey-holes.
@aurafinder32506 жыл бұрын
The Avid Gamer It would definitely be cool if your Atmora theory was correct, and the reappearance of snow elves could trigger some event where the snow elves have to be visited in Atmora. It would probably be the Solsthiem to Skyrim, and could be a nice change of scenery. Unless the setting is High Rock, then it would just get redundant.

Igma make the most sense as a playable race we already have 4 humans and 4 elves but only 2 beast races the igma could flesh that out and they live on the mainland if mostly in valenwood and are more likely to pop up because of that than a race from a foreign island or say the races from akivar.
@AdditionalAndrew59163 жыл бұрын
I'd like to see how sea elves and argonians get along. Though both are from different origins they are some how both shaped and adapted to marsh and aquatic environments. They even share a hatred towards high elves. These two races can prove to be hostile towards each other or equally prove to be great allies.
@aragonaut7 жыл бұрын
I was thinking how cool it would be for Bethesda to incorporate Sea Elves and a bunch of other races that live in Tamriel and Akavir potentially etc, but if they did, they'd need to introduce the race and then we could play in the next game, so that means we'd potentially have to wait a long time to get them but what if Bethesda pulls a New Vegas on TES and have a different company to make a game that's part of the Canon but didn't count as an official continuation of the series, so it could be used to create the new races, and then in TES6 we could play as Sea Elves, and (I wish) Dwemer, or even unbetrayed Falmer or other extinct races I'd love that
@krisbeagles704511 ай бұрын
Actually, Ive never even thought of that, but a game sey in the past where you could play as snow elves or half-devloved Falmer would be pretty sick

Hell, then the new Aldmeri Dominion could make a peace with the Empire for trade and you'd have a new Aldmeri Dominion (without a fanatical government, however the sea elves are conquerors so there would be a push for a campaign either into Tamriel, or perhaps Akavir with an alliance with the Empire.) Would be neat, I just would love to see the sea elves have a role in overthrowing the Thalmor who in my opinion are the real villains of Skyrim.

I want an Elder Scrolls game based on Akavir. I think this could really be Bethesda's opportunity to focus on quality over quantity. You'd just have the three native races: Tsaecsi serpent-men, Ka'Po'Tun tiger dragons, and Tang Mo monkey people. Each would have unique playstyles and powers, and the common threat would be the Kamal snow demons. This would also allow the game to have an opposing element of ice. In a lot of games and in Oblivion, bad guys (daedra in Oblivion) are dominantly fire based. Skyrim had dragons which were either fire or ice, but the most unique enemies in Skyrim were the dwarven automatons that were associated with lightning. I'd love to see an Akavir game where most of the landscape is warm, but certain areas overrun with the Kamal are temporarily frozen over.
@sanfransiscon7 жыл бұрын
From what I've read, the tiger people are called the tiger dragons because their culture revolves around ascending as a dragon like one of their god-kings. I don't know if there would be "regular" dragons there, especially depending on the time period. But continuing to implement dragon shouts would be cool, although it seems like that would be locked to the tiger race.

i can see in the distant future of tamriel, the audacity of the Aldimer will see to it their generations and their childrens generations after theirs will experience the same, 'kindness' the dunmer, kahjit, and the Argonians in windhelm got to enjoy. And there will be no ally to run to.

A few things: *MAORmer - Maori; considering this, the cultural parallels become clear. Impenetrable mist - land of the long white cloud; Aotearoa, New Zealand. Snake creatures and kelp forests - taniwha, mythical serpent-like water guardians; harakeke or flax, a prominent textile and building material; monstrous kelp forests across the coastal waters of the Tasman Sea, the Southern Ocean and Cook Strait. Pyandonea - Polynesia, "many islands", a sub-zone containing the large archipelagos of the southern Pacific Ocean, relatively isolated from the northern hemisphere of influence. Sailing upon flotilla, in some cases great serpents - the many migrations carried out on catamaran type vessels capable of long-term habitation; a floating village. Also, the reference to great eels, serpentine beasts and "taniwha" in native legends across Polynesia. Bonus item: King Orgnum allegedly doped-up and banged Queen Potema, daughter of Emperor Pelagius II, and following this interaction was ambushed off the coast of her kingdom by Iachesis of the Psyjic Order (~Wolf Queen of Solitude series, Skyrim). Evidences action in posing opposition against the Summurset Isles.

This just proves to me that the ElderScrolls was just a D&D game that the creators decided to turn into a video game

But what about the elf blood for the ogmha infinium in skyrim? Do they just count as altmer?
@katara3146 жыл бұрын
It would be really cool if there were sea elves in the next game, possibly even playable. It would make sense for them to show up if ES6 takes place in the Aldmeri Dominion, like many people hope.

I made a guide on Steam about how to make a Sea Elf in vanilla using console commands. I think a Sea Viper (Maomer pirates) build would be pretty awesome, making use of the Storm Call shout and the Whirlwind Cloak spell to mimic the ability for Sea Elves to summon storms.

Man, I love just how big the Elder Scrolls verse is. I never even knew that these guys existed & they sound really cool. Should a game take place in Valenwood or Summerset, they should make an appearance there.

XNinja2017 Funny thing is if you ever play Elder scrolls online you see and fight Maomer. Learn a bit about their lore and even fight against their giant serpents.

Going into this vid I though: "Elder Scrolls have sea elves!? What are they actually called? WashMer?"
@ben-toboxent.79587 жыл бұрын
I feel like we could see the sea-elves return, perhaps joining the Nords of Skyrim and the Empire to battle the Aldmeri Dominion. After all, the Dragonborn has the ability to clear away a magical Blizzard, and Alduin's mist, plus the dragonborn certainly made an enemy of the Thalmor, so maybe we'll see them again.

Would definitely like to see more playable races than just the classic 10. Need an elder scrolls that explores the ideas of some of the races on other continents or something:D

If I remember correctly, Sea elves are only mentioned in one of the books from the game. It is cool that there is a mod and we can play them in Skyrim! ;)
